My favorite game is figuring the game out, and so tutorials ruin things for me. When I saw people complaining this doesn't tell you what to do, I knew I would probably like it. Anyway it's pretty cool. It's like the crafting system of Minecraft abstracted or something like that. It's not hard to figure out. Yes as you might have expected for the price there are some quirky QOL stuff for sure, but it's not game breaking. I thought it was a fun little puzzle. I don't know what my current playtime is, but there appears to be a bunch more content in the game that I plan to play with. This game is worth engaging with.
This game is difficult to understand. Basic things I didn't understand at first: Add the resources you're going to buy, craft or build on the TOP line, and it will work with your current inventory. Dig to get sand to make glass jars. If you play the regular mode, you have a certain amount of energy, and you'll have to earn a certain amount of money to go to the next wave. Place copper in the copper bar making machine. I believe it's the furnace. After that your shovel will dig 3 holes at once, your pickaxe will mine 3 spots, so you'll use less energy. The bottom line is with the fall sale, this game is less than a buck. Everything works. I thought to myself, why can't I pick up my crops. I then figured out my inventory was full so when I had enough money I purchased 8 more slots. I kept the game because of the positive reviews, and just roughed through it. I understand now why everyone likes it, but it's very difficult to understand. Definitely needs a tutorial, but for 74 cents, it is what it is. It's actually a really addictive title. It may take you a while to understand, and the people in the community weren't helpful. For the one guy who wanted to know how to make polished stone, there is a stone machine. Nobody had a clue. There's so much more, but don't give up and you'll figure it out. lol
