This is the original arcade version of Ms. Pac-Man which is great because I play this almost anytime I see it in an arcade, and now I can play the original at home too. For me playing with the analogue stick on my xbox controller is closeish to the feel of the original arcade, but it's a little too precise and sometimes I make a wrong turn that I know if I was using the arcade stick I wouldn't. It runs windowed by default, but you can put it in full screen mode by going into settings and pressing the space bar until it goes into full screen. I read one review that said that it windowed only, and it took me a while to figure out tbh, so I can see how others might have missed that. To my ears it sounds and looks just like the arcade.

Ms. Pac-man is one of the best Pac-Man games. It takes everything from the original and cranks it up a notch. A classic game, in the video game Hall of Fame and it's CHEAP. Easy recommendation from me.

I made sure to pick this game up on sale before it inevitably gets delisted thanks to Bandai Namco and AtGames ruining everything related to Ms. Pac-Man. (Don't even get me started on poor Jr.) Otherwise, you're probably better off emulating it, and there's way better versions of it, but this port isn't downright terrible either, just underwhelming.

It's really neat that you can still purchase the original Ms. PAC-MAN arcade game in the modern day, especially on Steam with achievements included. For the sake of game preservation, I hope that this title is never delisted. If you're unaware of all the legal problems with Ms. PAC-MAN, I recommend looking into it sometime. It's a bit of a rabbit hole and definitely explains some of the decisions Nameco has made when re-releasing/re-mastering older titles. Anyway, yes this is the original arcade game. You can customize the scale of the screen, choose from a few backgrounds, and choose how strong the scanlines should be (if any). You can customize how many lives you start just like arcade system owners can when they modify the dip switches inside the cabinet. This game also has a built in leaderboard if you're looking to get a highscoore among other Ms. PAC-MAN players.
