Got the game in 2023 with a 75% discount. Recently added the season pass and Ragnarok expansion with deep discounts. You get a lot of gaming for a quite reasonable price. The game crashes from time to time, the writing isn't great, and the gameplay is a lot of busy work, but the world design, variety of landscapes, and the visual presentation are great. If you can get it with a good discount and like to roam around in an open world occasionally playing a bit of story related content this game isn't half bad.

"Why am I keep doing this to myself" - that's the first thought that came to me when I bought this. My feelings about this game are as reviews - between mixed and mostly positive. Game has a certain spirit and plot ideas. But it's quantity over quality kind of game. Good ideas and story are diluted with fanfic kind of plots and repetitive gameplay with overuse of formulas developers considered succesful based on previous games. On one hand I'm having fun, on the other I don't feel that games like this should be praised. I'm feeling that giving this game a positive review is equal to lowering the bar for future games. Game is mediocre in it's own way. I'm having fun and I don't like it.

refused to give the game a try because of reviews from most of the reviewers but finally decided to play it and i am actually pretty impressed, a pretty good game with good story and points of interests to explore

No where near as good as odyssey. Climbing is worse and so are the DLCs. But for £12 I got 161 hours of content which isn't bad.

Ubisoft added achievements so I am happy to provide a positive review. Please add achievements to your other older games and I will buy them as well. Hell I'll buy them now to provide the cash to pay the Ubisoft employee that will add the achievements. The game is great, if you enjoyed AC Odyssey, AC Origins or open world games with a good story you will like this.
