at this moment, all i can say is that the physics of this game are actually insane. the ffb is a decent upgrade when comparing it to the original ac game. its very refined and very well done, although the game isnt very optimised. also, frame generation is doing absolutely nothing besides making the game even less smooth. i am using the moza r3 btw. gamepad support is decent but pretty hard to get used to and definitely needs improvements. i fully understand the game is early access and there is a lot of space for improvement. im going to be waiting for the full release and hopefully its gonna be more refined than the current state. the game is worth it imo.

I've only ever played this game with the Xbox controller. Initially, I absolutely hated it, as I was spending more time in the trees than on the road and was ready to ask for a refund. I decided to read a few reviews on here and saw comments saying that other people had similar experiences with the Xbox controller. Then I watched a YouTube video showing a guy playing with the same controller who was having a blast. So I decided to commit… Firstly, I changed the input settings: Settings → Inputs → Device Settings → Gamepad Steering Linearity: 0.6 Steering Deadzone at Centre: 20 Then I gave it more time, and I’m so glad that I did. I went to the stages with the Mini Cooper, as I'd heard this was a good place to start. After a few hours of play, I started to get the knack of it and could actually finish a stage, getting a Bronze time. Now, with a bit of practice, I can consistently get Silver times, and I’ve even got one Gold so far. Honestly, I absolutely love the game now. I've played a lot of WRC 10 and thought that was the pinnacle of rally games, but AC Rally is on another level. The learning curve is definitely steeper, but once you start to get the feel of the car and how braking and acceleration affect weight distribution - and therefore steering -you can really start to gain confidence and speed. I never found this level of progression with WRC. The only thing I really can’t understand is how difficult the Rally Events “Special Stages” (aka “SS”) are. They’re different from the standard stages in that you’re racing other virtual drivers rather than just against the clock. You have to get 10th place (out of 20 or 25, I think?) to get Bronze, maybe 5th for Silver, and 1st for Gold. I can’t even get close to Bronze, yet on the normal stages I can consistently get Silver. Maybe this will be changed in future versions. Overall: 9/10 from me — love it.

I can finally see a future where I will have only one good rally game installed on my pc instead of 4 bad ones. Even if in early access atm I can say that Assetto Corsa Rally is a breath of fresh air for the rally fan community. If you're chasing realism, this game has it, the physics are impressively close to real-world driving, capturing the weight transfer, grip loss, and surface transitions with great accuracy. Visually, it's in a league of its own. The graphics are arguably the best in the genre, with dynamic weather effects that just look stunning. From fog-drenched forests to rain-slicked gravel, the atmosphere is as immersive as it is brutal. Then there’s the stage design: absolutely fantastic. Each route feels handcrafted, with natural flow and elevation changes. For the performance..well the game for me runs at 120 fps at lower graphics and still looks better than EA WRC or DirT 2.0 even on an old gtx 1080. This isn’t just a game—it’s a love letter to rallying. Thank you Assetto Team.

This is not EA WRC or Dirt Rally. The handling here is on a completely different level, far more realistic, far more detailed, and honestly a bit overwhelming at first. I did struggle in the beginning until I adapted to it, and that’s coming from someone who has spent a lot of time with sim racing games. Once it clicks, the physics feel incredibly natural and everything the car does makes sense. The graphics are amazing. I’d honestly say this is the best-looking sim racing game out right now, even better than AC Evo. The interior camera is so realistic that when I was screensharing on Discord, someone genuinely thought they were watching a real onboard video. The scenery and the laser-scanned stages are another major highlight. The environments feel carefully built instead of generic or repetitive. Terrain changes, elevation, vegetation, and road texture all have a level of detail that makes every stage feel like a real place. Overall, this feels like a true 10/10 release. It is polished, ambitious, and extremely rewarding once you get into the flow of it. Easily my game of the year so far.

If you ever played Dirt or WRC and hope similar feeling of the car sticking to the ground- forget it. It feel somewhere in the middle of Richard Burns Rally and other AC games. If you hope to play with keyboard boy oh boy you will have a "great time". controller or wheel is a must! What i really dislike is this hype to release unfinished/early access games. You buy a cat in the bag and don't know what to expect in the end. So far it looks promising, car tuning, is more in-depth than your usual rally games, It't follows AC approach. Physics of the car when you hit something sometimes gets funny, but again. its early access. But in general Physics are great and immersive. Finally - a Rally that requires a skill, discipline and hard work to be great at because this one will not forgive mistakes, even the smallest ones. Hit the grass on high speed tarmac and you'll be spinning, break too hard you'll lock the brakes and you'll be flying to the moon from that nasty cliff you tried to avoid. Overall, if developers will listen to players moving on with development - this game for this price is a steal EDIT I went to change drivers and co-drivers names and nationalities and noticed that Lithuanian Flag is upside down . Should be yellow, green, red (top to bottom) but its flipped
