its a fun game if you like the idea of building and restoring cars from junkyard parts. its like car mechanic simulator but in a open world, and unlike my summer car you can have a full fleet of vehicles that you can just outright buy all new parts for. the driving simulation is good, its no beamng but the cars are controllable and feel alright. as for damage simulation its a bit wonky but at the same time fairly detailed. if you smack into a guardrail then expect to not only damage parts of the body, but you can also bend things like control arms and tie rods. if you hit something hard enough you can even bend the frame and sub frame. however my major problem with the game is just how ugly this game looks. when i say its ugly I'm not talking about graphic fidelity, but the scenery. for example my summer car has horrible graphics, but the scenery feels "right." sure you can tell MSC is a game but it looks like a place from somewhere in Finland. however this game feels like you're on a isolated alien planet and the -view- while driving around just isn't satisfying. i think adding a tree wall in some places would help, as well as just adding more random scenery around the map just so the game world will feel more lived in. my other complaints are that there's no junkyard in the new portion of the map, items fall through the world into the void, and the only way to source furniture is through scavenging, i would like to see them being sold in a store and be able to be transported without having to use the tool. (especially the lift.) it would be nice if there was a way to tell what condition parts were in other than just "good" and "broken" visuals, and more fleshed out (optional) life sim features to make the game more challenging. for example; a option to disable the parts catalogue on the bench so you have to go out to the store to buy parts. but regardless of my issues i have thoroughly enjoyed my time playing this game and am excited to see what the dev does with it in the future. Edit: previous complaint abut the I4 is resolved. it got a new model, very nice.
this game is PERFECT for people who want to send their junkyard pickup truck to a Ford Farm of trucks you promise youll restore one day, but forget about it, end up giving it the bare minimum to make it run and drive, bag on it super hard to go buy other parts, then blow it up and take the rest of the good parts to The Pile. 10/10 Ziptiesnbiasplies simulator
