I really want to like this game — I love exploration + survival + automation and the music is fantastic — but it's just not quite there yet. I got lost several times as it was unclear what I needed to do. "Upgrade at the Apotheos Mainframe." Ok, but where's the Mainframe? When can I unlock an upgrade? Where is the silver? How do I find more Void Matter? It's just missing little clues and starts to feel tedious and boring. I'm sure all this will be smoothed over and I'm happy to wait, but just feels game is missing clear progression so I'll just hold on.

Nice twist on the automation genre with a terraria-esque view of the world. Automate, unlock explore, battle, upgrades that are meaningful (you can fly!) and beautiful pixel art.

It's late and I have a silly mush brain, but I've only played this game for a few days and I adore it. Not much I really add other than tooltips and/or the tutorial needs to be more clear. Besides this, it's a lovely automation sandbox game and just got options that you can even get rid of any monsters or invasions.

This could be the next Factorio… and I’m sure the devs know it’s the best compliment they could receive. There are some small annoying things but I’m sure they’ll be fixed soon. The controller/steam deck support is a game changer, it’s implemented fairly well, but can still be improved. The most annoying thing at the moment is the music - please, please, this has to be fixed immediately 😅 Having said that - the game is already amazing. I love discovering its mechanics, the new buildings and areas. At least for now it seems very chill, focused on building and exploration, but I think there will also be enough combat to keep things interesting and challenging. Can wait for the multiplayer! Devs, keep up the good work. Everyone else - definitely give it a try!

It's a mesh between Terraria and Satisfactory --- sorta. I do enjoy the gameplay, the pixel design and animations, the factory automations are interesting, there is a large scope of unlocks, the enemies are interesting. For an early access game there is a lot of content already. This game kinda requires a couple play-throughs to get how to build a symbiotic factory that has a good flow of supplies and materials. I really like how you need to think and plan your factory. Tearing down and rebuilding to suit new requirements and material transportation keeps you on your toes. Multiplayer will be released in the future. So far its pretty fun. It will be very grindy tho, as these types of games usually are, and there isn't much for instruction or guidance even with the tutorial. I'm hoping there will be a larger gaming community as this game gains more players, I'm sure I'll need expert advice soon enough. *UPDATE* after 100 hours in, this game is quite fun! It did prove to be very grindy and I'm about halfway through the factory unlocks. A couple recommendations: Don't waste your resources by storing them, rather build your factory to pull materials from an ever expanding transportation pipeline, and limit your pipelines to one material each to reduce material congestion and subsequent factory slowdown/complete stoppage. Also, expend to the next region as required BEFORE your material nodes run out but not too soon as you will learn why as you play more. Lastly, check out the game's Discord channel for inspiration!
