I've owned this since release and have never played the multiplayer. I think I've played 1 solo expedition. I mean. I've tried the prison and some other one but I can't figure them out. All my hours are pretty much just playing the same levels. The yellow and pool rooms. The yellow rooms is dark. Decrepit. Atmosphere is foreboding. I really like this game. It's great to see the dev still working on it, releasing content. Hoping for a remaster of the yellow rooms. for me the game is a 10

If you are an OG backrooms fan, this is the game for you. With superb graphics, smooth gameplay, and unique camera angling. There was obviously strict attention paid to the detail of capturing the authenticity of the creepy hellscape that is the Backrooms. This game also has a pretty nifty workshop / level builder type thing as well, so if you're the creative type why not show off your chops to like minded fans in the community. Anyway...between a pretty decent story mode, there is also a multiplayer mode, found footage mode, escape mode, and even some achievements, some of which are quite challenging to achieve, and that can be frustrating as hell to get. This really is one of the better Backrooms games that ISN'T just a G.D. walking simulator (No disrespect to the complex, etc...).

'sup, i don't understand the bad reviews because this one might be the best backroom multiplayer game on steam (and we did test a lot) and it was super fun, even more for the price, i recomend it a lot for all backroom lovers over here

I was a bit hesitant given the negative reviews, and generally when I see negative ratings on a game, I don't take the risk of buying it. But this time, I played multiplayer and the game is really very good. I really struggle to understand the people who rated this game poorly.

This is my 6th backrooms game. The gameplay is very fun. Some levels feel huge. Some levels are interesting compared to other backroom games. But there are some that feel unfinished. There are a few bugs, needs more graphics settings, my 4090 was getting 17fps in some areas. I played with 3 other people. We would rank this the 2nd or 3rd best backrooms game we've played.
