You're here reading some reviews wondering yourself whether to buy this quite anonymous game or not. The store page doesn't show many reviews written in English, because the majority of the users who bought this game are Chinese. But here I am, I'm going to talk about this game, and tell you why you should try it. First, let me tell you how I learned about Ball-it Hell: I was about to buy another game, when in the Cart section of Steam a certain game called Ball-it Hell picked my interest, mostly for the very cheap price, and I decided to buy it. Let's see what the game is about: You control this ball with your mouse cursor, and you have to defeat some other balls spinning around in a circle while avoiding and countering all their attacks. The goal is to get the highest score possible (like your typical arcade game). It may look hard at first, but it's actually very easy and quick to learn how to play. Runs are very short (they last 1-5 minutes), there are a lot of different balls to choose from with their unique attack and skill, and the achievements have been perfectly balanced, difficulty-wise. Moreover, it's polished very well, and I didn't encounter any bugs during my playtime. Ball-it Hell was very satisfying to play. I cleared everything the game offers in 3 and a half hours (time depends entirely on your skill), and it was a real joy to play. I didn't expect that day to casually discover an indie gem. For the mere dollar it costs (when on sale), it's a steal. It's definitely worth your time, especially if you want to feel like a pro for a while.
It is very rare to find a game that feels like a ''game'' nowadays. Play, pause, throw and forget, come back again and then, finish everything it has without have the feeling you forgot something because of not doing in one go—Thumper as example. Very hard at the start, but once you get used to it, can get addicting. It seemed he tried to do a rhythm based game from some things seen, but gave up in the middle. Anyways, though limited, the BGM mix well, despite having only a few. There are many characters, some very interesting to use, some just felt as a copy of others(also the billiards guy, my favorite). A nice game if you just wish to space out while feeling pain in your brain, hand and eyes. #0006 Better to just use the first character as a way to familiarize with the system, as result of being too simple, hard to use for novice, also the cat is the hardest because is ''auto'' to attack—and this game, precision is required. the stars works as a checkpoint of points, so helps to gather 10k, with 5k, you unlock trial to the latent power of the character.
I really liked this game!!! I basically got this game for free because there was a bundle with this game and a game called "omelet you cook" (a good game as well btw) and it was the same price if I just bought omelet you cook on its own. And weirdly I kinda like this game more I've 100% it withen 4 hours but I can easily imagine it taking way longer if you're not great at this game. I was able to get practice with a differant game called geballer! It's basically ball-it hell but without attacking. This game is really addicting I kept saying "ok *one more* one more" the simplicity just kept me hooked! I am definatly gonna play this game more The biggest thing I disliked in this game was the aiming. It kept going for the balls I didn't want it to which was mildly annoying And some charator based dislikes: I really hated how the bomb maniac's bombs hurted you. I wish your bombs couldn't hurt you. He was one of my least favorite charactors because of this. What the ♥♥♥♥ is the front??? Before the trial tank sucks because it felt so random on what balls I'm hitting because I had no clue where the front was for the tank, but the trail essencially fixes this because it just hits from behind as well now. My favorite charactor is 8-ball I loved aiming perfectly to get ass many projectiles as I could. Really made me play differently! My most hated charactor is mew-mew. I didn't think she was bad for the normal game mode. In fact I thought it was quite nice! It made me focus more on dodging since attacking was automatic. However the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trail was such a pain. The trails require you to aim carefully and how the ♥♥♥♥ do I do that when it's attacking for me?! That trial felt like pure luck to me.
Un concepto simple, re simple. Pero elevado y pulido para volverlo un 10/10 Esquivar cosas con el mouse es tan viejo como los juegos flash, pero agregarle la mecanica de apuntar las balas antes de devolverlas te da algo atrapante que hacer mientras sobrevivis. También se encargaron de pulir todas las otras pequeñas cosas para una buena experiencia: sesiones condensadas, dificultad que aumenta a un ritmo justo, personajes satisfactorios de desbloquear, etc. Excelente para matar tiempo en cualquier contexto.
Great game, feels very fair in the sense that any mistake is completely your fault. Fluid movement and relaxing music. Pretty difficult game if you're trying to get far but still great. Honestly one of my new favorite bullet hell games. One tiny thing I would love though is if there was some way to not auto-target the nearest bullet and be able to aim, idk still great as is and definitely worth at least 3 dollars. Also I love the time slow power up, it makes you feel like you're in one one of those slow motion parts in an action movie where the main character snipes 5 people in like 1 second.
