When they say this is addicting they be fr fr on that. I'm not quite the leaderboar type a guy, I do think after each run we should get something just to make the run more rewarding for players who is not into rankings like attaining cosmestic, new stuff, multipliers, collectables etc. things like that would be fun for casuals I guess. Cannot lie tho the character design, music, aesthetics, and projectile loop is peak on this one. It just need more looping content adition after each run for me 1 hour to try everything.. I feel like it quite the lackluster to say the least.
This game is great. Reaction timing and twin stick shooting limited by rigid movement design that still leaves you feeling like mistakes are your own fault. The main character feels like a badass and the enemy boss designs are neat. I especially love the "show the story" mentality as opposed to having the main character monologue everything out. A great pick up and play game with great options for modes to just JUMP IN once your done with the story.
Never saw anyone talk about this game, so I feel compelled to leave a review. I often feel games are far too bloated, having too many ideas to distil down into a tight package. This is not one of those games. The core idea is simple and executed perfectly. It is short, but I always feel its better to leave you wanting more than to outstay its welcome. It seems like theres plenty to do post game also. Needless to say, its beautiful, but the gameplay matches it stride for stride with a rhythmic quality that will have you bouncing along to the amazing soundtrack. I bought it on sale, at steep discount and I now feel I've somehow conned the devs. Genuinely fantastic. You should probably give it a chance and hopefully have a great time too
