Successful Passion Project. This is a game that is challenging, deep, and easy to pick up. Highly recommended for anyone ready to give themselves a challenge or just to run laps in survival mode for fun. It is incredibly capable of showing off its style with amazing graphics, customizations, and... an AMAZING soundtrack. There is a great workshop community here with custom maps and custom ships. It's hard not to recommend this game unless you truly just don't like racing games. The DLC is not required for getting all achievements. It doesn't offer any unfair advantages; instead, it's just a great way to access more official content and support the passionate team behind this gem. <3 Thank you, Neognosis, for this Wipeout successor. I installed the game, I started a race, was overwhelmed by the speed and "ding, donged around"... But then...suddenly...I remembered my training at the wipeout academy. Now I am locked and loaded, pin pointing razor sharp turns, scratching edges with the tip of my wings, while electronic infinity sounds get my adrenaline pumping. Thank you guys! How could I miss this game on steam? Its excelent gaming for all wipeout bangers and racing enthusiasts.
Peak anti-gravity racing. If you were like me, trying to decide between Redout, Redout 2, Wipeout and others, just get this! I played both Redout games, they are good, but this game has better tracks with actual themes other than "track floating in the sky" as every Redout track is. The controls and physics of this game are slightly better than Redout; in some cases it is optimal to ram a wall and come to a full stop in Redout which just feels weird. This game feels pretty much the same as the Wipeout series, but there are basically unlimited tracks and ships thanks to the steam workshop! Hoping for an Android port so I can play on my phone too lol, I would probably clock a lot more hours on the go.
