leaving a review because user "nobody cares" is a cowards and doesn't allow comments on his 0.7 playtime negative review. this is basically a reply to his review - the maps are specifically designed to have catch-nets and curves so you can speed, and flat sections where you are expected to turn want you to slow down. just drive better. look at what what's in front of you and adjust. just don't t-bone the guard rails and they'll work. - you can turn off rubber-banding. its called "catch up" in the event settings just toggle it off - pickups are not random. they are based on how far behind you are. being ahead mostly gives you simple weapons and shields. being behind gives you more boosts and rockets and being all the way in the back gives you the assassin missile that's basically the blue shell if it tossed 1st place off the map. because you said its completely random lets us know how well you did in your 0.7 hours - hydra is loosely guided and doesn't curve super sharp. because it is many small hits in a row it's good for spinning an opponent completely around or driving them off an edge. however because it cannot turn tight it will run into sharp upwards loops or walls during turns so you need to actually think about when you shoot it. crazy i know. also the spearhead tilting you up is not a problem if you are not almost at a standstill when you shoot it, and can toss every car it strikes in a line so its very good for narrow loops and pathways. again, skill issue - shields have a delay, yeah, but its less than a 4th of a second. its not a parry window just pop it when you think its vaguely close it ain't hard, man. and again hydra can spin a car all the way around so no, use your shield for that too. and yes you can outrun all missiles except the giant missile depending on your speed category and if you got a double boost. tho you only have 0.7 hours so i don't think you ever unlocked that by entering the higher brackets, so you probably didn't even know that was a thing - remember when you said there's no way to tell how close a rocket is so you don't know when to use a shield? that's what the radar is for. also for the arena mode so you can tell when things are close but not in front of you more easily - you get more shield when you are further ahead, and in first you basically get shields half the time so always having one on hand is really easy, actually. this game rewards you for driving well. crazy how that works. also there are plenty of times you can use the breaks in a track, but you also said "tracks do not count with speed or opponent actions" so i don't thing you tried to learn that (i think you meant "account for speed" and not "count with speed" but whatever) - the "slowdown" disruptor pickup is a time warp and makes aggressive turning easier for who activated it and harder for whoever was effected by someone else's disruptor. as well as slowing down folks in first much more and barely effect those further behind. i don't know how you didn't pick up on this. - getting hit with your shield shouldn't move you too much unless you were hit by every single rocket in a hydra (if you just sit in the way the whole time then that's on you. they don't even track very well) or an assassin rocket, which has a different alarm and is queue for you to straighten out and prepare to catch yourself if you begin to spin after it hits your shield. also only large impacts cause that "distortion" and its just the UI which is out of the way for you to see what's in front of you. a non issue - i never played online so i can't verify if you cannot change your username in the game. someone in these comments can if they'd like - its a handbreak. you dont use it to drift this isn't need for speed. you use it to either completely stop or do a full 180 - you botched every point you had except for possibly the username one, but sure lets here more of them it's just a giant case of skill issue and being impatient. looking at the guys other reviews he gets offended about pronouns and gender, and these anti-woke types aren't known to be very observant. the game is hard and it wants you to get good at it. i don't think the rubber-banding should be enabled by default but thankfully there's an option to actually turn it off unlike most games that have it. my actual thoughts on this is that its a punishing racing game, sick music (if you're into edm) and i love is grimy rusty sci-fi style. its clearly a game that's not for everyone. it being not your thing is fine, just don't be a weirdo and refuse to even attempt to learn it and writing your longest review yet

Next gen Rollcage Futuristic racer with hover jets and two sided cars which can drive on ceilings just like that. Huge wide tracks often split into multiple paths and plenty of vehicles to choose from. Speed is above your expectations so make sure to wear some googles. Levels turn racing into stunt event playing with perspective and changing how you drive - on walls, upside down and such. Vehicles have classic cars which have wheels and hoverjet cars which fly close to the surface. Generally speaking first group have better grip and second better acceleration or high speed. Campaign mode divided into tiers each one getting more difficult than previous one. Multiplayer mode is available, hard to find people though. Controls are customizable so sensitivity can be changed. High grip is important but will you trade it for better speed or acceleration? Overall speed is serious and so is the gameplay. One mistake will send you flying into space literally. A few power ups like speed boost, rockets, laser, minigun and such. Can hold up to two at once and activate them in any order. Gameplay consist of races, battle races where you have to score points and arenas. Music is great. What can I say? I could've wish for more content and power ups. Huge fan of this game so highly recommended! 9/10 in maximum rating score system.

Pure brain-off chaos in the best way possible. You drive stupidly fast cars on walls, ceilings or wherever gravity gave up. While rockets and explosions fly everywhere. It’s loud, it’s dumb, it’s over the top, and it works. On top of that, it’s a great continuation of Rollcage, staying true to the old-school anti-gravity madness. 10/10, zero thoughts, only speed

This is really good. One of the absolute best future racing games on PC. Obviously a Rollcage clone but that's selling it very short. Amazing modern drum and bass music and the tracks are gigantic. The vibe in the race is really great and the gameplay is very quick and fun. You can dip in for a race and it's tons of chaos. I'd say this is very underrated actually, I don't really understand the negative reviews. I was playing BallisticNG and that's a wonderful game but I think I had more raw "woah lol" style fun playing this.
