Buying a storage unit always feels like a gamble. Most of the time it's just piles of junk, but every now and then you find something that makes the whole trip worth it. Cleaning everything up and slowly uncovering valuable items is surprisingly satisfying, even if the gameplay starts repeating itself after a while. I just wish there was a bit more variety because the idea behind the game is genuinely fun.

I went into Barn Finders fully expecting chaos after reading all the reviews about glitches. Honestly, I was braced for my character to fall through the floor, explode into pixels, or get booted into space. But nope, I played the whole game and every DLC, and it all behaved surprisingly well. I sunk 24 hours into rummaging through barns, hoarding junk, and unlocking every achievement like the over committed gremlin I am. A word of warning though: do not smash everything in sight. I know, I know it’s tempting. But some of those random objects are actually essential for reaching higher spots. Destroy them too early and you’ll be stuck staring up at unreachable loot like a sad raccoon. Looking at you, Knuckles’ Barn. The annoying bit? You can’t restart a level until you’ve finished it, so if you mess up, congratulations, you’re living with your choices. And if you miss the golden toilet paper at a Bid Wars auction, tough luck, you can’t go back for it. Verdict: 6/10 not brilliant, but definitely barn worthy.

Bought this game as part of a bundle because it was only a dollar more to add the game, and honestly I like this game more than the game I originally bought the bundle for. Super fun and there's a lot put in to the game, unique twist on an auction/flipper game. 10/10 would buy again!

Very entertaining game. I just destroy everything on the map and pick up all the materials and make bank. Simple as that. The auctions? Pretty fun. Original game focuses on it decently, bid wars dlc (the negatively reviewed one), focuses heavily on it, and honestly it's not bad either. If you go in with expectations of a game that has 1000+ hours of gameplay, this might not be for you, but if you want a game with a lot of character, a game with developers that work hard to improve their game and actively work on it (even after the 5+ years being out), then this game may be for you. Also with the random gags, it's great to play stoned

Marketing of this game was overly hyped. In reality is pretty scarce. You get to search for treasures in various locations. Maybe first couple locations feels like fun. But the you discover that it is just good old click on hidden points game. Just in 3D. Puzzles were fine. You can renovate some found items. This part of game feels pretty thin. And then you cant sell stuff in store. This too feels nice at first, you can even haggle with customers. This gets boring really fast too. Developers crammed so many things for player to do in this game. Probably so marketing could go nuts. They are all just really thinly implemented. Best part of this game is humor and characters. Those are glue holding this game together. Sadly, they don't last very long. But most important thing, it player is having fun. And I did, even if only for 13 hours. Recommended if this sort of humor suits you. And you get it on discount.
