good game, been eyeing it for a while, only things id need to be better is the ability to remove workers, it seems to be broken in the hire workers, and in each building

Game is fresh out of beta. What attracted me is the modding aspect since I like making mods for games, especially since Endless Loop Studios have given us other gems like Game Corp XD. The game has it's issues. - You can be permanently stuck in tutorial if you close a certain window, since that freakin' tutorial guy can't be moved and he's blocking the bottom right corner buttons. - Wokshop items cannot be updated, you have to re-upload if you have issues, something as menial as adding your own preview later cannot be done, you have to have your mod all perfect before release - Minor one, compared to Game Corp XD or RimWorld, you cannot play this game if you skip the tutorial as a beginner. It's complicated and that can be a problem, it's not simple enough for you to just jump in and enjoy. Not everyone likes the tutorial, due to issues like mentioned above this list there's the tutorial guy blocking your darn buttons, I was at least hoping there was more creativity with the tutorial, maybe a non-linear one that just briefs you as you go along to do what you want rather than forced "please do this". - No dev mode. Modding in a simple VIP can be a pain. I can take an hour creating one simple VIP mod because of waiting for them to show up. I wish we were given access to forcing and selecting VIP spawns, like in RimWorld where the modders are given an option to turn on dev mode. Having a very modder friendly interface will guarantee a livelier modding community, which in turn extends the game's life. So far adding a VIP is fun, but can be a lot of trouble over one new character. It can be discouraging for me to go "yeah alright, let's go draw this" without thinking about having to boot up the game and wait an in-game month for my VIP to show up, even then there's no guarantee it's your new VIP since the game randomly selects VIPs. That's all, I wanted to list my gripes with the game. Code Monkey did encourage feedback so here it is. I will say that it's a pretty standard Endless Loop Studio game, very lighthearted and fun when you get the hang of it. You can spend hours enjoying the game once everything is in order and you blaze through the painful tutorial. I hope these things get worked on.

It's nice, but like any (post) EA game it has it's flaws that could be fixed: - Somewhat simple game mechanics - Guests can get stuck in the arena by themselves (reload required) - Not everything is explained clearly - The game feels unbalanced It also definitely has it's charm: - The concept is fun, watch guests battle it out - That instant Tycoon look and feel (love it or hate it) - Okay building mechanics that invite you to build a decent arena / park - Some customization to have it your way Overall it could do with some polish and additions as far as content goes. But it's a decent game that could get you a few hours of game play. If you like tycoons it's fun enough to give it a go. Just don't expect the depth and richness that some of the originals in the genre had (yet), but the basis is there.

Got me hooked quite a while. Could be way more challenging in difficulty and cash flow, things to do and look for. Would love to see some kind of tournament system where you can build up teams, train them, send them to competetive matches and tournaments in other parks (maybe other players parks - in my mind it looks really cool when you're online with dozens of other players and throw your team into an unknown arena to fight for money and prestige) and serve such events in your park with all that marketing stuff going on. Anyways, looking forward for what to come but for now I think I've seen all for now but it was totally worth it.

I've been following the development of this game for a little bit and for a newly released early access game I consider it playable although I have already identified some areas of improvement that will make the overall experience enjoyable which I'm sure is already planned to be added to the game. To start with, the good stuff: - The game is playable and currently has enough content that you won't get bored after the first hour which doesn't always happen with Early Access games. - The graphics are simple yet aesthetically pleasing for the most part, during the arena battles there are some odd animations that happen although im sure that will get worked out. One thing I find a bit odd all the blood and yet the arena participents walk out from the arena perfectly fine, I feel like a lasertag or paintballing theme would add a bit of realism to the game without taking away from the overall experience. - The item system, while small, is a nice addition where you have to stock and maintain the weapons. At time of writing there are a total of 9 weapons, 3 pistols, 3 shotguns, and 3 rifles. It would be great to see armour and other equipment added over time. - There are some cool, albeit not well explained mechanics that make designing buildings and the sorts a little easier such as when making drawing out the floorplan if the dimensions are both white the room meets the minimum size criterea while other colours indicate either the width or length is too small. Some arenas have different ratings from small - medium - large in which the tool tips while drawing out the floor plan let you know the current building size and how big it needs to be in order meet hte next room size criterea. Additionally after a room is built it lets you adjust it one squeare in any of the 4 compass directions to make expansions easier. The not so good stuff - Map edge scrolling is super sensitive to the point that I had to turn it off when hovering over the movement controls because it made the map shoot from one side to the other. Speaking of which, allowing us to use the space bar instead of P for pausing time would be ideal. - While most are obvious, there is no explanation of the guest needs although there is a setting that shows you all the recent thoughts that you can read through to give you an idea of what people like and what people want. There is also a button of a statue that shows heat map around them although there is no explanation as to what it does or why it has a heat map. - There are some graphs explaining happiness, rating, bank balance and so on but nothing that explains the income/spending other tycoon stuff that allows you to efficiently manage staff, building costs, and related information although again I have no doubt there will come due to it being in early access. Overall in its current state I reccommend it, its cheap, already has many hours of fun available, and has the potential to expand and grow into a great game like the developers other titles. Some coordination between the developers and what the playerbase would like and I can see this becoming a very successful, niche game with a huge range of features.
