BIT.RIP ReRunner improves on the original Runner in every way while still keeping its charm. As someone who has died many times in the original, it was a breath of fresh air to see checkpoints during the levels. The graphics are also amazing and I'm glad they kept certain design elements like Commander Video's 3D sprite style. Finally, Stemage did an amazing job with the soundtrack and brought some new life to tracks like the Boss Theme. Would recommend.

It really is just BIT.TRIP RUNNER but more and I couldn't be happier. The level creator is just the cherry on top, this is an amazing game for those who like the original.

I've been a Bit.Trip fan since the first game. Got it in a Humble Bundle forever ago, and since I've played all in the series. This was a lot of fun to go back to. I really enjoyed the changes, and the ability to go back and play the classic levels. If you are interested in this style of game, would highly recommend.

This game is exactly what I wanted out of the first game. A fun, decently difficult runner with some rhythm elements. My main gripe with the original was a lack of checkpoints, this fixes that problem. This isn't really a "remake", it's more so a "re-imagining" of the original Bit.Trip Runner game. Yet this still has the entirety of the first game in it, WITH CHECKPOINTS, along with a few levels based on other Bit.Trip games, not just the Runner part. This also has an online element to it, you can create, publish and play other levels online, which is a genius idea. Good game, highly recommend. Gaijin's levels can still suck. Whoever designed the Retro Challenges should never design a level again.
