A short, but great game! Took me about 3 hours to beat on normal. The artworks is really good and the animations are clean. The flow of combat feels great and its not too punishing like some game in this genre. The story isn't bad either. It does things right without making an overly complicated combat system with enough variables to not feel too repetitive or stale. The upgrade system is simple as well and doesn't leave you questioning what something does or if an upgrade is worth it. Definitely worth picking up on sale.

An excellent side-scrolling hack-and-slash game, with very beautiful art style and interesting Chinese mythology. The story is a little bland, but the fast-paced gameplay makes up for the lackluster story. Highly recommended!

A very short game, that's tough at times but very enjoyable. The design and visuals are great, the music is good. The story is shallow, but it draws from Chinese mythology and spiritual concepts which I thought is quite nice. The combat can be difficult, but it took me 3-6 attempts for the more difficult encounters, with the final boss being a huge leap in difficulty. So, if you want a pretty game with nice music and cool fights, this is a good one to pick up. Don't expect to be entertained for long, though.

A good game with some issues. Story: Ji being framed for her father's death, but also being on some shaky grounds with him. She escapes to find the truth, but to also return to save her sister. Along her journey, she is faced with challenges, and her own morals are challenged. Eventually, returning home to confront the person behind it all. It is a nice short story, Battle System: Really good, it is smooth. It is fast, and the hits feels great. There isn't much to the upgrade system, but the way combos chains are great. On top of this, you get some summons in the game. The bad parts also comes with this system. It needs a bit more work, as the rate in which you're expected to counter is not reasonable, and pretty much so precise that it is poorly done on this end. More often than not, your trigger is constantly behind where the counter is. In short, this part of it is clunky. Anyway, overall, it is a solid game.
