surprinsingly super fun to play and their story isnt bad its the opposite, they make the characters really enjoyable and all of them have their personality, i would say if you like rogue-likes or rogue-lites give it a try dont think twice and if you like games like 2d scroller with different sceneries places to explore and the variety of builds also do it, the game its on offer really often and you dont be desappointed, i wish i havent get it on offer tbh, i'm waiting for their new game release
The pixel art and animations are decent, and the characters and gameplay work well. There are plenty of weapons to choose from and good variety in how you can build your character. On the downside, the story itself isn't too bad, but it is told very poorly, and the level design feels uninspired and boring. Overall, it was a fun weekend game.
A couple of years ago I finished this game on Switch, and now I'm playing it again on Steam. It's a really fun gameplay loop, you can "master" a weapon by using it frequently and this allows you to unlock better weapons for your future runs. It's an addictive mechanic that encourages experimentation so you rarely end up sticking to a single weapon. Enemies and bosses are just the right difficulty too.
