Somehow the other day I remembered Bleed from a Northernlion video I watched twelve years ago. I don't know how I could have remembered something so insignificant so much later into the future, but I knew It had to be for a good reason if I did. I bought Bleed 1 and 2. The first game was great, very charming although a little rough around the edges. I played Bleed 2 and I was smiling like an idiot the whole time. This game is the pinnacle of quality over quantity. I beat it in less than two hours on hard difficulty and I already wish I could experience it again and again and again and again. Bleed 2 is an action game that gives you a hat full of tricks without compromising difficulty. In this game you have a directional quadruple jump, a parry, and bullet time. And a taunt, which eventually serves a purpose in a clever way in one of the bosses. Speaking of the bosses, there are 24 of them. This game has three times the number of unique bosses Elden ♥♥♥♥ has while each of them being infinitely more creative and with the game taking literally a one hundredth of the time to complete. I don't have any more words to describe the game aside from it being audiovisualolfactory perfection and the pinnacle of video gaming. This game is the definition of underrated. If the world was just and made sense Wryn should be as recognizable as Super Mario or Steve Minecraft. I ache having finished this game knowing I'm going to play some garbage pig slop like Warframe the next day. This game is unbelievably good and gives me hope for the human race. Only weird thing is that I don't think there's actually any blood in Bleed 2 although there definitely was in Bleed 1, but hey that's good news for ESRB and the CCP. I'd love a part 3! If you like mega man or metal slug or anything like that, then just get this series! The controls are tight, the action fast. The boss fights are imaginative and fun The music is 1980's banging techno pump action movie vibes. Who cares about the story but this one is actually kinda cute and the game constantly encourages you to continue.. and you should because you can finish this game it's not hard. I finished this game and felt good. It's not as challenging as the first game which was fun and very doable as is this one. I don't see myself uninstalling these as there is some replay value in them and they are small. The other game modes make for a quick session too. The manner in which they save a progress gets you right back into the action of the game in a non-super frustrating way. It reminds me of mega man and a bunch of other games in a way. I finished this and the first game in a short space of time and I don't know if it's because I played the second one right after the first but I finished the second quite quickly, and the second one seems to have near non stop action. The series is short and sweet! This games respects your time man, it's just action action action. It's just classic 1980 action all killer no filler. To all the people involved in making this game Thank you. I think this game has the potential to become a classic franchise and I'd love to see a part 3 Awesome series

You don't need to play the first to enjoy this game. Controls are a bit funky but once you get used to them it's fun to parry pullets and switch around weapons (once you get the option to do so). Great for folks who like crazy action games.
