a fun little horror game that’s great for spooky season if you have an hour or two to kill. loved that this played out in real time and having side quests while waiting the 30 minutes for the laundry to wash and dry. was jumpscared a few times and the soundtrack is great. would recommend
Blood Wash is an absolute gem! I loved every single second of it. The retro style and atmosphere hit me right away—it perfectly captures that classic horror vibe with modern polish that just draws you in from the very first frame. The visuals, sound design, and overall aesthetic are spot-on and incredibly immersive. The story is genuinely fantastic. It kept me hooked the entire time, and every chapter left me excited (and a little nervous) for what was coming next. I genuinely didn’t want it to end—I just wanted to keep soaking in the world and uncovering more. The horror elements are done really well too. It builds tension beautifully and delivers some genuinely creepy and memorable moments without ever feeling cheap or overdone. If you’re a fan of retro-inspired horror games with strong storytelling and style to spare, do yourself a favor and play Blood Wash. Easily one of my favorite experiences this year. Can’t recommend it enough! 10/10

A pretty decent Puppet Combo horror game. The horror elements were unfortunately rather mediocre and pretty standard. A big part of the game consists of waiting a few minutes for the washing machine while exploring other things in the meantime, which wasn’t implemented as well as I had hoped at the beginning. On the positive side, I really liked the typical Puppet Combo art style, which I always enjoy. The atmosphere was also quite nice in some parts and managed to build up tension briefly. Unfortunately, I found the game pretty average overall, but I still had some fun with it.
This game is absolute trash — and that’s exactly why it’s so good. Bloodwash feels like a weird fever dream straight out of a cursed PS1 disc. The characters are all a bit cringe, the dialogue is questionable, and everything just feels slightly off… but somehow that’s exactly what makes it work. You play as a pregnant student stuck in a rundown life, while a serial killer called the Womb Ripper is out there doing his thing — so obviously, the best idea is to go to a creepy laundromat at night. What could possibly go wrong? The PS1-style visuals, VHS filter, and overall grime give it a really unique atmosphere. It’s trashy, gory, uncomfortable… and honestly pretty entertaining. I had a lot of fun with this one ^^ If you enjoy weird, low-budget indie horror with personality, this is an easy recommendation =)
