Recommended for: If you're a fan of on-rails shooters then Blue Estate is something to check out. The most important aspect of these kinds of games is the gameplay and in Blue Estate it's pretty solid. Whether or not you’ll like this game depends on whether you enjoy the humor it contains. For example: The game is narrated by a "private detective." During the opening scene, where a sexy woman (Cherry Popz) asks for his help, he says: "Then she started blubbering about some cool cat named Vincent who split the scene, leaving Cherry with a broken heart (magnifying glass zooms over her boobs) and the kind of deep, aching void only a good private (you hear a beep) can fill." Also, a big blue pop-up box appears with the text: "This is highly inappropriate!" These pop-ups occur regularly during events. This is the level of humor you get constantly throughout the whole game. If you have no problem with that, then you'll probably like Blue Estate. If you think playing this game will make you die of cringe, then it's best to skip it. The game is also fairly short. I guess most of the development time went into the character model and animations of Cherry Popz. But this is of course not necessarily a bad thing... My experience: I had a nice time playing Blue Estate. I had no problem with the style of humor. I didn't think it was really funny, but on occasion I had a good chuckle. Although Blue Estate is a good game in my opinion, I think they could have done much more with it, like adding more missions and more variety in the shooting mechanics. It actually surprises me that they never made a part 2, considering all the potential that was left. Technical: I had no technical issues while playing. (Win10,7800X3D,RX7800XT) Personal Rating: 3/5

I've been craving an on-rails shooter for a long time, and Blue Estate really delivered. The only downside is that it's short—like most games in the genre. But I'll definitely come back to it often!

The best rail shooter I've ever seen, a beautiful stripper in the story, but the game gets boring quickly.

Nothing bad to say about it. It's fun, on-rails shooter with a silly/stupid sense of humour, which I like. Might not be for everyone, but on a sale, you won't regret it, if you're just looking for something to pass the time and have a chuckle.

Wow, this game is actually pretty awesome. If you're a fan of on-rails shooters, this one is as fun as an arcade, without the pain of paying for continues! The animations are smooth, the gun-play is satisfying, and the dialog keeps it fresh.
