Every father's favorite show to watch with their children is even better as a game! I spent many hours next to my daughter on the couch playing as Bluey and Bingo and making memories. Worth every penny.

Bluey is coaxed out of retirement to thwart a nuclear threat posed by the rogue unit, now led by Bluey's twin sister, Bingo. The plot thickens as Bluey infiltrates Shadow Moses Island in Alaska, encountering a cast of memorable characters and uncovering layers of conspiracy. The game explores themes of genetic destiny and the ethical implications of cloning through the Les Chiots Terribles project. Bluey learns of her origins and battles Bingo, ultimately destroying the advanced Bluey Gear REX. The game ends on a poignant note, questioning the nature of heroism and legacy.

its okay. for 40 dollars i expected a higher quality. it's not as if this is an indie studio with three people huddled around a desk. i know its for kids, but still- the game is buggy, the graphics are pixelated, some of the minigames are near impossible to defeat because of hard to use controls and the various clutter around the maps, and some of the audio clips are distorted and crunchy. got it on sale, and i suppose 20 dollars is a reasonable price. there are better games out there, but its not horrible. i'm just a bit let down by the quality.

Bluey: The Videogame is a charming adaptation of the beloved Australian children’s show, but it falls short in several key areas. Here’s a detailed review based on real gameplay and reviews: Visuals and Audio The game does an excellent job of capturing the vibrant and colorful 2D animation style of the TV show. The characters and environments are faithfully recreated, making it feel like you’re stepping into an episode of Bluey. The original voice cast also lends their talents, adding to the authenticity. Gameplay The gameplay is simple and straightforward, which is fitting for its target audience of young children. Players can control each member of the Heeler family—Bluey, Bingo, Bandit, and Chilli—across five familiar locations from the show, including the Heeler household and the playground. The tasks mainly involve locating and collecting items, which can become repetitive. Story The game features a short story split into four episodes, each taking about 10-15 minutes to complete. The narrative revolves around the family searching for Bandit’s lost childhood treasure. While the story is wholesome and true to the spirit of the show, its brevity is a significant drawback. The entire game can be completed in about an hour, with an additional hour for collecting all items. Value for Money One of the most significant criticisms is the game’s price. At around $40 in the US, it is considered expensive for the amount of content it offers. Many reviewers feel that the game does not provide enough value for its cost, especially when compared to other children’s games. Final Thoughts While Bluey: The Videogame successfully emulates the look and feel of the TV show, it struggles to capture the same magic. The gameplay is repetitive, and the overall experience is very short. However, young fans of the show will likely enjoy the opportunity to interact with their favorite characters in a new way. If you’re a parent looking for a simple, child-friendly game, this might be a good choice. But if you’re seeking a more engaging and value-packed experience, you might want to look elsewhere. I wrote this all on google docs, I worked hard for over 2 days

Would I recommend well yes at the end of the day myself and my 3year old daughter enjoyed playing it together and she immediately brought into the concept. However ignoring the obvious brand appeal the reality is my perfect game would be one where I could leave her to play on her own and to a point that is somewhat possible however the persistent "Out of bounds" glitches and fussy item hit boxes did result in me often having to step in to load a new character to fix out of bound issues where characters would walk under the though objects included falling though the floors of buildings and making steps impossible to climb or me needing to move the character around and item to find the perfect spot where an item could be collected. Also movable items often didnt move as they should. This constnet flaky behaviour from the game has made left me struggling to leave a top review for a game that has all the makings of a "My FIrst Computer Game" Experience. At the same time as the 2D view making everything more in tune with the feel of original show my daughter often struggled to realise an exit from an area might be down and towards the camera as she couldnt see it. Personally I liked the 2D view even more for the fact it made controls easier for her as she didnt have to deal with the camera moving but at the same time maybe openings to other areas concealed by the bottom of the screen should be better marked. If the bugs are fixed this is the perfect game to leave her playing but honestly the much more difficult "Princess Peach Showtime" on switch was a more fun experience for both me and her to play as when she couldn't achieve what she wanted there if felt fair. On this game it feels like the game itself took her control away her when in reality should could of had complete control. Lastly at £35 I think it deserves these bugs fixed and it will become a perfect solution to gaming for younger gamers. I have chosen to review this as a father. Quite possibly my daughter would have been happy just to have the lovely graphics true to the show, Nice story telling and perfect scene setting via original writing and vocal artists. But as a father I feel disappointed that this was so close to being the first game she played her way through with miniman guidence and let her own her own completion. The bugs took away an independent win away from her. Also if we are completely honest its nice to be able to trust a game to both engage her and give her full control of her win without dad having to guide her. She loved the world and playing wiht the items often finding her own find away fro just box ticking. This is so almost perfect for her please fix it. I trust my comments will be taken in balance. It is good but OMG the bugs. A 3year old cant understand why blueys head is moving throught the floor of the house. She was doing everything right but still struggled to collect items and push boxes to where they needed to be despite knowing they needed to be pushed. PLEASE LET HER HAVE THE WIN SHE DESERVES IT. Fix the bugs
