tldr is basically the game rips, dev is passionate and active in the community. I used to dream about a physics based bmx game and this is everything I could have wanted and more. heads up - The game is being re-developed from the core up as we speak and gets patched sometimes 3-4 times a day or more, and it's feeling really good, you can enjoy all the new changes on mod maps and in a pre-loaded test area. You can also play the 1.0 version with the main map and challenges and stuff and check in on the new changes in the developer branch version at your leisure if that's not your thing. There are new tricks added weekly lately and the dev is commited to making transition riding and grinds as great as possible. As far as playing it is like no other. There is unlimited freedom to ride how you want, you can turn on and off the assists for a more hardcore experience or keep them on for chill fun. The mod community is super alive with clothes, maps and bike parts. Overall a great experience to be a part of. 10/10 Check out the discord too

Really tried giving the benefit of the doubt here but there is no way as a developer you say this is the finish product. I know its a small team but the product we had wasn't bad on pipe, so to receive this for another 40 was a bit meh. Physics can be great but are far too buggy, making every line take twice as long bc of your bike wanting to perform a sideways barrel roll. Bailing out is another downside, as someone who played skate games it was really fun to see the bail system, here there is really none which is very disappointing. On top of this some of the challenges are mind numbing, making it feel like im attempting 500 tries but messing up so much do to the fact that the placement of the spots are terrible and the buggy physics. Overall good game mechanics, but not for the release of a final product.

Worth the $20 i spent for it while it was on sale, thats the price it should be it isnt worth more than that. Its fun exploring the map and finding new spots and hidden loot boxes, The challenges are a lot of fun to complete, but I Wish there was an in game park creator like skate 3 had

Don't be scared off by the negative reviews. This game is RAD. I haven't fully explored the main map yet, but the mod scene is killing it with community built maps that take like 5min to add to the game. Main game has unlockables (parts, riders, etc.) which keeps me coming back. This is not an easy game to just pick up and play. Controls take a bit to get the hang of, but I knew that beforehand. This motivated me to get back on the bike IRL this weekend to try and get my hop whips back. Do yourself a favor and snag it. Even at the current price its definitely worth it. And if you do, do yourself a favor and download the "Big Apple Park" map. Its INCREDIBLE I'm not even joking.
