It's all about the movement. DANG! said in an interview that they tried removing the floor as the game progresses, which leads you to master being airborne. Gem of a game. I only wish there was more.

I came here to throw a glowing death frisbee and touch grass — and this game doesn’t let me do either. Boomerang X is what happens when Titanfall, DOOM, and a Beyblade get tossed into a blender and scream at you in midair. You don’t run. You launch. You don’t shoot. You yeet a bladed frisbee so hard it violates the Geneva Convention. It’s fast, it’s beautiful, and it absolutely does not care about your ability to aim or function as a human being under pressure. You will die. You will scream. And you will love it. Pros: ✅ Boomerang go whshhhh ✅ Mid-air teleport kills feel illegal ✅ The floor is lava and also judgmental ✅ Somehow made me motion sick and motion confident at the same time Cons: ❌ Game ends ❌ No PvP mode to traumatize my friends ❌ Made me believe I could double-jump IRL (I cannot) Buy this game.
