Meh, this was okay, a mixed review. It plays like what the Trailer does. And at least it's not lying to you. However, don't let the Review fools you, It gets boring real fast, Since you're doing the same thing over and over again, and the grind is kinda insane. You don't really need this game, You may wait for a deep sale to get it. 4/10

Fun and entertaining little game that I got for 8$. I particularly like the music. I managed to complete the game and all achievements in about 15 hours. I'm only missing the 7 daily runs achievement. Some cons: - The gameplay is a bit repetitive and the quests are all quite similar. - I found the volcano biome a bit overwhelming with the fireballs. - You can almost 1-shot bosses with the missile special ability.

Bore Blasters is a digging / mining / roguelite game in which you shoot blocks, venture deep down into the ground, hunt for gems, and complete small missions. You then upgrade your ship with your found gold to complete more difficult missions. There are 3 characters to play as and each have his / her own style of play with strengths and weeknesses. The game took just over 20 hours to complete 100%. + The gameplay (mostly) never got stale in my 20 hours of playing. Shooting blocks and trying out various strategies to complete missions was always fun. There are many different weapon combos that when used together can make for ultimate destruction. + The writing and banter of the dwarves / goblins was always entertaining. + Very addicting. + Great soundtrack / music. + The game is long. + Fun boss fights - The later missions of the game, I would say hours 18-20 near the end, can feel a bit repetitive. - Could have used a few more boss fights and enemy variety. - Could have used more of a variety of missions objectives. Excellent game for lovers of digging / mining games. Overall: 8.5/10

I had a blast with Bore Blasters! By nature I love pixel art and can't get enough of the explodies and crunchies this game brings right to may face. I had fun with the gameplay loop, the music was fun, the simple story didn't grab me - But who is here for that with this style of game? it was a very addictive and felt satisfying to play all the way through.

Fun little game that you can play in short runs with each run taking roughly 10 minutes. Although i caught myself spending hours in it. The mechanics are simple and the gameloop, while being a tad monotone, still remains motivating. The soundtrack is really well done and fits the games athmosphere. All in all, go give it a try, especially if it's on sale.
