I wish steam had a "middle" option because while I recommend the game because it pretty much runs smoothly there are things that make me consider if I should or shouldn't have purchased it. EULA is something to be suspicious of. This is incredibly damaging for an open world sandbox game like this where I can get my key revoked just for running my own server my own way. I am not saying I would do anything worthy of getting my key revoked however with this EULA they can remove it for any reason, whether it's something they disagree politically with, bad steam review, etc. I would play it safe and see what happens, I don't trust it. It's a slippery slope.

This is the best creative game i've ever played! And i've played many: minecraft, roblox, littlebigplanet, dreamsPS4, tower unite, sauerbraten/cube2, scrap mechanic, trailmakers This game lets you create anything you can think of, from buildings to vehicles to contraptions to machines to entire levels to obstacle courses to maps for shooter deathmatches to whatever you want, really! You can also visit the gallery and download and play worlds other people have made! Everything you create has physics and can move smoothly through the world. Anything can move, even an entire house! In my opinion, this already puts it miles ahead of games like minecraft, where things can only stand still. It all happens ingame, there is no need to install a seperate program to create content in this game. It also works great with controllers! I've played on steam deck and with a ps4 controller, works great for both. Did I mention you can do all of that, together with 30 other players in dedicated servers, where everything syncs up in realtime? Meaning chaotic fun driving lots of vehicles all over the place, spawning a huge amount of physics objects (which btw don't make the game run much slower at all, it's that optimized), and the big one: working together on entire worlds all at the same time! The way you build feels amazing and intuitive. You can click and drag to quickly place bricks of any size, and you can easily make pillars or foundations or walls that way. The game has an amazing, in-depth logic gate system in the vein of LittleBigPlanet and Dreams and it'll only get better from here, as the devs have a lot of plans to add new logic gates! It's also one of the most optimized games made in UnrealEngine5 that you've ever seen. It can run on very weak computers but also on very powerful ones. It has insane raytracing that runs better than most games, but you can just as easily play without it. Oh yeah, and it's only 1.5gb in size! There's just too much to cover in a review, this is a game with infinite possibilities that you could potentially spend years in. I hope this gets really big and popular, it's such an amazing game!! oh, and: bricj!!! <3<3<3

"LEGO Garry's Mod," "Better Blockland without all the racism," "Not Roblox at all," "The only optimized Unreal Engine game." All of these descriptions are high praise and accurate in their own ways, but no matter what, simple statements like this can't do this game justice. I've been waiting 5 years for this game to finally let me pay for it. I've played the alphas, then the demo, then the closed beta, and consistently this game has been some of the most fun I've had doing anything online. Building stuff feels amazing, seeing and hearing the bricks click together gives me all the happy chemicals. The wiring system is incredibly capable, letting you make anything from a simple light switch or an automated door or elevator, to goddamn conway's game of life??? It's admittedly a lot for me to wrap my brain around, but building a new contraption fills me with an unmatched sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. And, my god, the weapons in this game feel so, so good to use. Every weapon feels scientifically engineered to be as satisfying to use as possible, it's beautiful. Hopping into a deathmatch server and playing a few rounds has proven to be a fantastic way to pass the time. (Not to mention, the ragdoll physics when you die are hilarious.) That being said, allow me to summarize my thoughts on Brickadia: If you gave me the time and resources to make the sandbox game of my dreams, this would be exactly what I come up with. This game is phenomenal already, and it's only going to get better with time.

The spiritual successor to Blockland! I’ve been waiting for this game ever since it was announced and been playing it during alpha and beta tests, this is the future of Lego like building sandbox games!! Amazing physics, build a vehicle out of your bricks you put down and make it drivable! Flexibility with hosting your own server, you imagine it you can build it! The only limit is your imagination! The future is very bright with this game, definitely give it a go!! 5/5 bricks, LET’S GOOOO!!

It's like the lovechild of Blockland and Garry's Mod. A dream game come true for many, but still lacking in some features I hope come further in development--ladders, block destruction, and a few other things. I've been waiting a couple years for this game to release, so to get accepted into the beta was wonderful. I can tell already that it'll be my GOTY 2025.
