This is the most "made by people who learned English as a second language through Duke Nukem shitposts" coded game I've ever played. And that's a good thing.

Amazing Duke Nukem 3D parody with a lot of hilarious cutscenes, easter eggs, references and jokes. Weapon impact is good, gore is top notch and movement is very smooth. Also you can drive vehicles in this game. Can't wait for the full release!

Being deeply fond of Duke Nukem and Jon St. John's voice, I simply couldn't ignore this title. Brutal John 2 is a heartfelt, detailed, and affectionate tribute to Duke Nukem — with clear nods to the character in several moments. Beyond that, the level design is well-crafted, flows smoothly, and is an absolute joy to play… just like the gameplay itself! I wholeheartedly recommend this game. Many thanks to the developers — you've just gained a loyal player! 😎

Holy crap! I didn't expect this! Russian dev does what Randy *Pigface* Pitchford never could! It is already better than Phantom Fury. Wow! A fantastic parody of boomer shooters with lots of references (especially if you're from CIS region). I recently finished Robocop Rogue City Unfinished business and I would dare to say that Brutal John 2 plays better than it, honestly. And to be even more frank, I'd say that it plays better than even OG Duke Nukem 3D. Levels with interactable objects and destructible environments? Check. Enemy variety? Check. Charismatic protagonists who give many commentaries to their surroundings? Check. Ridiculous story? Check. Simple yet captivating gameplay? Check. Banger soundtrack? Check. Great (and not overconvoluted) level design? Check. Classic secrets on the levels? Check. Absence of microtransactions? Check! Okay, sign me in! It's time to kick some asses! P.S. Developer if you're reading this, on behalf of all Duke Nukem fans I ask you - please put Randy *Pigface* Pitchford as the true final boss, or perhaps as a secret boss. He needs to pay for the damage he's done to Duke.
