Easily the most chaotic and most complete game in the franchise to date, blowing the first two out of the water. The core gameplay loop of matching ingredients, tapping furiously to manage multiple assembly lines, and keeping impatient customers happy is more addictive than ever. Even though it's still technically in Early Access, it packs an absurd amount of levels and frantic multitasking challenges that will make you want to rip your hair out. Definitely worth it.
As a long time fan of the Burger Shop games, finding out that there is a Burger Shop 3 made my night! I've just smashed out an hour and perfected the first 50 levels (2 zones) in that time, and there's still sooo much more to do. I can see myself getting hooked on this one as I did the previous games as a kid - they're just so addictive and replayable! If I run across any issues I'll be sure to report them but I can't see it happening honestly, these guys know what they're doing :)
There is something addictive about this game. I wish I was better at it. The Asian restaurant is harder for me than the other restaurants. I played Burger Shop 1 and 2, and when I saw 3 on Steam in a trial capacity before completion, it was great. I can't recall now whether I paid for it or not, but if I didn't, I definitely would have. Plus I have gotten in touch with the creators a few times and they were very helpful. Thank you! I wish I wasn't so hooked on it...
While it is still in early access, the first third of the story is complete, and the mechanics are incredibly well done. There's so much gameplay in this version, and can be overwhelming at times. It is one of my favorite games, and one of the best time management games. Nothing is like the series, and it is above and beyond what one could've hoped from if they beat the first two. There are such great difficulty options -- boosts to minimize things you dislike/struggle with and several different base difficulty modes. It's not necessary to Extreme all challenges, but doing so is very rewarding. The music is very good, but about halfway through I ended up turning it off and listening to other stuff in the background, but I really can't call it a complaint when I've played 300 hours. Any music would get old at that point. I still occasionally listen to it.
yep, they did it again. Another Burger Shop that's even bigger, better, and burger than before! And they did it like 15 years after the last game. with new foods, new powerups, new customers, even new game modes! But I do have to mention, the amount of different foods is so large this time that it happens more often that the conveyor belt doesn't have the ingredient that you had in mind, which can be annoying. Now you really have to use that return pipe on the top center. The campaign is much more interesting. There's lots of powerups, and you buy them by earning credits from beating levels. I didn't realize this at first, until the game became impossibly hard, and I was wondering when I'll receive some upgrades like in the previous games. Once you start a level, you can select which upgrade you want to apply for it. They can make certain customers or orders much easier, or speed up machines, and so on, on top of the powerups you already know from Burger Shop 1 & 2. Tip: don't use the money upgrade. You will earn heaps of money with the arcade game modes. Getting those 450 arcade medals was a real grind. But luckily you don't need to Extreme everything. I thought the puzzle game mode was most interesting, as it's very different from the normal gameplay, yet based on it. I wish you could get more hints/tries though, because the later levels become really hard to crack. Not sure why this game is still in Early Access. it feels like a complete game to me. Also, they lowered the price from €5 to €3,55. There's just no good reason to skip on this game.
