Great tool, worth it for me but you may want to wait for a sale if your on a tighter budget. Got this software a while ago at full price and although there is a slight learning curve it is intuitive and flexible. Ive made many mock MTG and pokemon cards as well as my own designs and i really love it. Once you learn the layering and icons and how everything fits together you can make your own cards pretty detailed and quickly, and there is plenty of tutorials around to figure it all out. No more updates unfortunately, there are some minor bugs ive come across but nothing overtly annoying. Because the devs shifted focus id say wait for a sale, but otherwise great tool.

This is a Great software to use for beginners for card games, or even for print and play files. But i would recommend to increase the card hieght to 1135 to be the same size as a pokemon/magic tcg card sizes.

TLDR: convenient and useful software, no new updates, buy on sale. This is abandoned software, but the developer's latest software "Tabletop Creator" has implemented generative AI into their software. Asinine to assume someone would want to pay to use the same genAI that anyone else has access to. So if you want a convenient way to make cards and use them for Tabletop Simulator to try them out: get this, but on sale. Otherwise you can design your own cards with Libre Office's PDF editor for free (without genAI meddling), since the software operates in a similar fashion for placing image/text boxes. The only thing that costs you here is the price of convenience.

It does everything I need it to for my personal card game. It's very simplified and straightforward, which is a gift and a curse, depending on how complex you want your designs to be. Highly recommend it for the ease of use and convenience.
