Potential, yet disapointing. was hoping to play this after "house flipper" as a chill game of the couch with a controller. This game has no controller support, even the "official" layout is unplayable so its a no from me. Gameplay wise seems great and after the first 3 missions can see thee is a lot more exploration, building and construction compared to H.F. which is nice, also some type of settlement develpment(?) (not sure as i didnt get far enough) In simple words, if controller support was a thing id play it

It's House Flipper but with medieval castles instead. Functionally, it works as a game but can be quite jank at times. Unlike HF though, this title no longer receives updates. I will only recommend it if it goes on a deep sale, if not I would recommend getting HF instead.

I love Castle Flipper! It's an awesome little medieval building and decorating game. I have yet to build my castle as I'm still enjoying building houses in my holding. The quests are cute and I like the little story through notes and background details. This game is definitely what you make of it though, if you don't enjoy creating things or are looking for a strong narrative driven experience, then this game isn't for you. This game doesn't hold your hand, the important stuff will be explained but I found that there was a lot that I just learned as I played. That's not a bad thing either, this isn't a game with combat or anything, so you don't loose anything because you didn't pick up on a mechanic right away, it just gives you the ability to go back and do things better later. I haven't experienced any bugs other than a few struggles with small decorative placement, some object/tree clipping and occasionally some dirt I can't reach or find (the two times this has happened I paid the maid to clean it and that fixed it). So nothing game breaking. The only draw back I would say it has is I want more furniture! I love variety. That said, there is plenty here to have fun with. I genuinely love the music and find the whole experience of playing this game to be relaxing. This is a time period (real or fantasy) that I enjoy and this is such a fun take on this style of game.

Bought the game in a bonus pack to get a discount on another one and kinda laughed about it. But I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised. Yes, it's a bit glitchy at times, but not many games can top off wanting to play 5 hours straight after launching it. Simple and entertaining enough, it's a YES from me!

Love this game a lot, it is very similar to house flipper, yet I love the castle vibes and all of the different items that I can use to build with, I enjoy the quests and would definitely recommend this game.
