A diamond in the rough. Cozy, relaxing and nostalgic small game for the post soviet aesthetic appreciators. The game has lot of different floorplans and plenty of wallpaper and flooring options available, especially after the latest update. Items are true to the era and everything fits together exceptionally well. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and the music compliments the gameplay. There is rain and dimly lit apartment buildings outside. The aesthetic is just *chef's kiss*. It is not perfect, but I haven´t encoutered any gamebreaking issues. For a non Russian speaking player like me the biggest pet peeve is that the item categories haven't been translated into English, so I find myself spending lot of time browsing the item categories when I play. The latest update added even more categories, when the new items could have been just assigned into the existing categories. I would suggest to translate and rework the categories to make the game more approachable to the non Russian speaking players. The item rotation is not great and I constantly have to fight with the curtains, but I can live with that. Sometimes a random item I did not choose might appear in my apartment, but I assume its just the babushka down the hall trying to help me out with the furnishings. 9/10 would time travel again
I will write this in English for the broader appeal. This is a very cozy and very nice designer sim. Love the layouts, design and even the animals are quite wonderful. What the game has in it now is very nice if only a bit repetitive. The only thing it lacks is more content in the builder options and translations, Other than that if you have or wished to have lived in Soviet Panel housing this is your chance. It gives many layout options and chances to fill and really bring warmth and light to your small space. If you play this as someone who has never seen or experienced Panel houses enjoy! The balcony and layouts are very true and the game almost tells a story with each apartment. This is a great experience.
This game is so very far from being anywhere near perfect , but I am unashamedly hooked. Retro/grunge/trash-core is one of my go to vibes for in game decorating, and there's nowhere near enough options out there for peeps who don't want a cosy/pastel/cute/fluffy aesthetic, so I was all in. Unfortunately it fell flat, by a lot, however, I got more than got my monies worth, and want to support in the hope we'll get the much needed fixes and new content. Things I'd like to see improved: - More furniture colourways - More small decorative items, especially food items, bathroom items such as bottles etc - Some less extravagant looking rugs/carpets that match the other furniture items - Much better wall decor, towels to hang on the heated radiators, framed embroidery as examples - Grungier service sets, the current ones look far too expensive for the vibe - Plants in different colour plant pots Some bugs I experienced: - An occasion where nothing saved at all - In the garage, after saving and exiting all of the pre placed items spawned back in over what I placed, luckily it didn't take long to put right - Random items generated instead of what I wanted on numerous occasions... such as the truck instead of a cushion, quick save and reload soon fixes it. **Edit; I somehow missed my biggest annoyance hahaaaa The floors are all way too clean/modern looking to go with the wall options, I need more grunge for it all to gel nicely. Its janky, it clips, it freezes, its buggy as hell, would I buy it again knowing all of this? Hell yeeeaaaaah!
