The amount of horrified looks I've gotten from the friends I've dragged into playing this with me fills me with great joy. I bought CHKN while it still cost money in Early Access, and I don't regret it even now it's free. For how unsettling the creatures can be, it's charming in it's own way and the creativity with the creature-building is limitless! I would've loved to see this game developed further, but even as it is, especially now that it's free, I'd highly encourage you to give it a go if you enjoy open-world survival games, don't mind not having a strong directive while running around a sandbox-style world, and want to mess around with beautiful abominations of creatures (that you can also pet!) The legacy version is also available to play if you change it in the game's properties within your library; I found this one a lot smoother in terms of gameplay and also features some more animals that didn't make it to the current version such as giraffes! And the best part? It's got great multiplayer support, so you too can drag your friends into surviving in this weird and wonderful world!

I really like CHKN (I call it chicken) the first time i saw this game was from Dantdm. It is fun it just doesn't get many updates, I am sad to see that it is getting less popular, but as of creating this review CHKN is free so I would recommend playing for just a little bit.
