This is a great game. Short, but cheap and definitely a great value. I finished at exactly the 100 minute mark. While I would have liked a few more puzzles similar to the ones at the end, I think the game fully explored the mechanics provided without getting repetitive. To have a longer game, it would have needed to add mechanics. I played this game exclusively on my Steamdeck. It looks great and runs at a solid 60 fps the entire time. The default controls are WASD+mouse, and that does feel a bit weird by default on deck. However, with a bit of patience and tuning the sensitivity in Steam input, it's fine. As you'd probably expect, there's not much in the way of replayability. There's a total of 6 achievements and after hitting the credits went back to do the one I missed. Remember that this is a $5 game though. I do hope the dev adds official controller support, but that's to bring in more players and success to a solid game at a good value

This game is a BRILLIANT concept, but it can become SO MUCH MORE. I hope the dev adds a bunch of somewhat harder level packs, and hopefully a level editor too so players can make their own. As for the base game, it's kinda easy at first, and also kinda short. Can't wait to see more, hopefully!

This has been one of my most anticipated games for roughly eighteen months, and it did not disappoint. Ever since playing the demo at SXSW Sydney (where I raved to everybody that it was my game of the show) I have been eagerly awaiting its release. Now that it's out, my only complaint is that I have already finished it. A quick glance at the first person, cube moving puzzles may draw comparisons to Portal, and it definitely wears that inspiration on its sleeve. Closer to Portal 1 than Portal 2, this is a tight, focused experience that takes each mechanic and builds upon it briefly before moving on. Each different puzzle has a fun spin on some of the core mechanics, and they never overstay their welcome - if anything some feel like they don't get quite as much mileage as they could. Indeed, at just under two hours, I was left wanting more; but even then, for five dollars, it's impossible to say I didn't get my money's worth. I suspect that, like Ooo last year, this will end up sneaking quite high on my GOTY list. It's a lean, polished product with a clear clarity of vision and a satisfying loop that is worth every cent. The exact type of game that (if the developer wanted it) would serve as a perfect audition for Valve to snap them up and get them cooking on a proper Portal 3.

A very short but fresh puzzle game that's a bit too easy for the majority of the levels but has a fairly good difficulty curve towards the end. I will say the final level caught me off guard because it didn't introduce anything new nor was it challenging so it felt like a weird place to end the game but that's a minor nitpick. $5 is a little steep for an hour long not too difficult puzzle experience but a lot of the levels felt like unique challenges rather than retreading the same concepts over and over. If it looks interesting or you don't mind the price I'd recommend but understand it's not going to last a long time or go particularly in depth on any of the mechanics of mixing light sources. I'd say it's an easy pickup for $3 or below.
