Very fun little time loop game. The developer must've loved outer wilds and it shows lol. Puzzles are not hard but requires you to pay attention. The loop being based on moves instead of real time removes the most annoying aspect for me when playing Minit. Took me 3.7 hrs to 100% but my friends had over 5 hrs. Also the dev is very responsive on accessibility feature requests in the discussion board (colorblind mode, reduce motion sickness, etc.) and pushes out fixes fast. I definitely needed those screenshakes and glitch effects off to not get bad headaches so thank you dev

The game may be a bit short (Took me only like 5h to 100% it), but the price is fair. The puzzles were great. Not too easy, but not so cryptic you need to have a pen and paper at hand like in la-mulana. I just wish there was more. Eager to see what the team will show us next.

Another banger in the Metroidbrainia category, you will almost certainly enjoy this game if you enjoy games like Outer Wilds and Blue Prince, though this game is of course MUCH simpler than either of those. But I enjoyed that fact, it was short and sweet and didn't overstay it's welcome to the point of redoing things ever becoming super tedious. (Also wanna give a quick shoutout to Olexa because I wouldn't have discovered this game without him)

Short fun puzzle game about time travel that took 6 hours including true ending but used the ingame hint system for the true ending. The puzzled arent too difficult but a few of them took 15-20mins of thinking for me to get through. Highly recommend the experience if your into puzzle games. There is no timing puzzles its all based on how many screens you move.

I'll start with the cons before describing the pros: Puzzle game fans that prefer their games to make them stop and think for any stretch of time, this isn't going to give you that. Most of the gameplay takes the form of doing the rather obvious next thing, where you're then told another rather obvious next thing to do. I do say *most* because there are a handful of puzzles near the end of the game that might take you a minute. The graphics remind me of a certain kind of mobile game; that's largely a personal gripe that doesn't mean much. The game obviously doesn't have the best looks in the world, but it didn't try to; there's certainly nothing wrong with the graphics either, and they do the job just fine. (Really, I'm probably being much too harsh here because of bad games I've played that look similar, but this game isn't like that.) The pros: This game is remarkably respectful of your time. One of the major design difficulties of time loop games is the larger than average amount of backtracking and otherwise frustrating game design inherent to the concept; Chronoquartz does a spectacular job of not being very frustrating to play at all, actually. Most information you need to remember is placed on the map screen where you can review it whenever you need to, meaning you never need to backtrack to a piece of information that you need for a puzzle. The exception to this is anything written in a text box; but it's very clear when there's something in a text box that you might need to take note of. Additionally, I mentioned the difficulty isn't very high in this game; that's largely because everything interacts almost exactly like you would *expect* it to - which is a good thing! Puzzle games like this can often have the classic point and click problem of needing to put X thing in Y place when it makes no sense. In this game, it just always makes sense, and it's small enough that you never really have time to forget about stuff that might be useful from earlier. And just because they aren't difficult doesn't mean they aren't satisfying. Every new area of the game introduces new mechanics that keep things fresh, and reaching the ending of each area usually involves tying everything together in a way that feels very nice to do. The secret/true of the game also take a bit of thought to figure out, and is a satisfying experience as well. Also, moving around the objects isn't annoying. I feel like it really easily *could've* been annoying, I feel like it's the sort of mechanic that could easily cause a lot of frustration if it isn't handled well, but in this game it causes none, and I feel like that's worth praising. Overall, for ten bucks, you'll get a satisfying ~5 hour journey that'll make you think just enough that you'll be content with your time.
