Really fun game. I was worried the collectathon would get annoying towards the end when there was only a few left remaining but the dev thought of this and added a little orb that would guide you towards one of the missing collectables. This is a great feature that a lot of collectathons tend to overlook. It does it for both the red and blue ones, im not sure if it does it for frogs but the frogs have a sound effect when you're close to them so that is fine. I think the amount of sky islands was a little annoying but they also made for some interesting challenges to climb at full power. The abilities felt good to use, the animations and artstyle were really cute, and it was just fun to run around discovering and collecting stuff.

The game is very chill, cozy & sprawling with collectibles galore. This is for a short fun time with solid platforming as you grow stronger with each collectible collected granting you special abilities that ease the platforming towards higher & difficult to reach places. The run time can last between an hour or two just collecting everything, but the real meat is with the challenge runs of which there are currently two of them: a speedrun for 30 minute in-game completion time & a Flutterless run where you cannot use the game's equivalent of a high jump. Cirno! Lifts a Boulder is a very casual soft entry into Touhou fan games that you can complete in the morning with scattered references of the mainline games throughout. I have zero experience with Touhou, but that fact doesn't detract from my overall enjoyment of this game. I may not know what Touhou is beyond the surface level cultural osmosis knowledge, but this fan game does a good job of intriguing someone who has no clue to the world building elements of Touhou enough that I might do my research into further Touhou games (both mainline & fan games). For the asking price, this is easily an adorable, comfortable & relaxing time that you feel satisfied by the end of it.

Oh man where do I start... Been waiting for the game to release for a while now and now that it finally did, I can confidently say it was 100% worth the wait. The price tag is extremely accessible which allows for more people to enjoy this banger of a game. The game in itself is short yet amazing in its charming way, the music fits the vibe pretty damn well and it's visible that there was a lot of love and care put into this game. The powerups you gather along the way make the gameplay even more enjoyable. The art has its beauty which I appreciate a lot and the 64-oriented artstyle for Cirno/environment really adds to the amazing experience. In behalf of all Cirno fans, thank you for this masterpiece. 10/10 - I would buy it again

Really cute little Collectathon. There's no enemies, or HP, or Lives, just you, Cirno, some frogs, and Points & Power to collect. Nine outta Nine.

So far from what I've played, the atmosphere, level design, music, and overall feel of the game are top-notch. The only thing I can think of that this game *desperately* needs is some better movement tech. When you start the game, all you have is a basic walk movement. While you get more vertical movement options later in the game, the horizontal movement just feels bland. Most modern collectathon type 3D platformers have some kind of spice to the player movement, such as a slide you can jump out of in a Hat in Time, or a roll in Mario Odyssey. Something to that effect to make moving around *feel* cooler would go leaps and bounds to push this game to a 10/10 for me. One suggestion would be adding something akin to a roll, mixed with a ragdoll sort of effect. Cirno will do a short Superman dive forward when pressing the right trigger, (About the same distance as the jump) which Cirno will bounce on her head out of the dive and regain control if you release the trigger. However, if you hold it, rather than bouncing, Cirno will faceplant and start rolling, where she will then comically roll up into a snowball that can quickly roll down slopes. Something that funny would push this game to a 12/10 for me, but even with the mediocre horizontal movement this game is still definitely worth the price for the atmosphere and music alone. you can sit, look at frogs, explore a well-designed world and admire beautiful masterpieces.
