I love this game! I did remap some of the controls because using E to interact and R for rotating was annoying so I remapped it as left click for interacting and the scroll wheel for rotating but I feel that these should just be the standard controls? I'm working through the challenge modes now!

I liked this better than Arcane Library because of the visual aspects to it. Having the pictures labeled made it easy to locate where some of the pieces went. I appreciate that the devs selected artists with varied enough styles that once you're familiar with that style, you know what pieces go roughly in what sections.

For those who have an "organize all the thingies" itch to scratch, this game certainly does the job, and frankly does it better than most other games in that genre. However, for those who don't know, there's one amazing thing that 1,000,000% puts this game above the rest: YOU CAN USE YOUR OWN PICTURES TO MAKE A CUSTOM PUZZLE GALLERY!!! I'm currently doing a playthrough where people in my streaming community sent me pictures of their pets, and I gave all the pictures artsy names like "The Boop" or "The Big Stretch". We are LOVING IT . Custom mode is EVERYTHING, and anyone who says different is a charlatan. Incredible job on this one, dev!

The "pick things up off the floor" genre is my new favorite and I have played them all and can full-heartedly recommend this one! Usually I try to wait a few days after release before picking up a game to let bugs work out and improvements soak in but I was too excited and I have zero regrets. I would have been happy with direct library clones forever with new titles and environments but instead these devs are taking the core and putting their own twists on it and I'm so here for it. In this game what I loved especially was the edutainment aspect. The art book actually helped me put words to the different styles of famous artists and it worked so surprisingly well. Pick up a piece, oh it's pointilism, I know who that is. Oh look how green, must be Rousseau. I think that's the ruffle of a tutu, sounds like Degas. That was such a fun way to learn! The flip side of this is that with my brain engaging more deeply than with other games in this genre it wasn't QUITE as relaxing but I think it's an excellent balance and there's always room for multiple games for multiple moods. I love this content so much I hope this game takes off into outer space and they make more and more and more!
