I started playing the hardcore mode and I enjoy the extra stakes it has but you GOTTA add some sort of feet/leg models for us, man. It's hard to tell how close I am standing to a bottle because I am a disembodied ghost and by the time I realised I've stepped on one, it's too late and I gotta start again. For a mode that requires you to use every pixel of space you have to reach the far shelves, I need some way to know where I'm standing.
It's okay. It's very similar to Arcane Librarian, and it scratches the same itch. My main issue is that all the bottles have the same 20ish label designs but called different wine types. Wine doesn't work like this in real life, and there's a missed opportunity for funny and goofy labels. All of the bottles are also exactly the same size and shape, but palette swapped. In real life, sometimes there's square bottles, sometimes there's shorter bottles, sometimes it's wider or narrower, sometimes the glass is swirly, and so on. The bottles are also labeled 1-9 but... it's wine. Bottle #1 of the same batch is really not different than #8. It'd be much more realistic and interesting to have different years on the bottles to sort by. There's also no end cutscene when you finish, just a splash screen and it's done. All in all the game feels a bit rushed and unpolished. I'm still recommending because despite the issues it was pretty fun.
