Tales of Valor is a relic, a minor iteration on a successful formula, offering ephemeral digital skirmishes. It demands little, offers slightly more than nothing, and serves primarily as another node in the vast network collecting behavioral data. Engage if you must find distraction in simulated history, but recognize the illusion for what it is: a comfortable cage built from old code and recycled conflict. The real war is for your attention and data, and you enlisted the moment you clicked 'Buy'.

Excellent RTS game mechanics, well balanced, fast paced. A nice blend of unit tactics, defense tactics, and base building. Wide variety of levels in campaign mode as well as skirmish. I most enjoy playing with AI team mates in Skirmish mode.

Best part. No subsequent ones have ever reached its level. The effects, sounds are amazing, it's 2006, and everything is done so well that it amazes even now. I recommend everyone to take it. There is also a cool free mod Eastern Front. Dare to recommend!

I had this game like forever when it first came out. There were lots of complications, system crash, difficulty login in, game fail to start. And when you eventually got to get the game running, back then my desktop computer wasn't able to support the graphics and all the action going on. Now that I have a better graphics on my laptop and it runs smooth like butter. I must say, this game brings back a lot of fun old memories. I used to love the fast pace Starcraft. But now that i am getting older, this works perfectly fine. Just bought Tales of Valor few days ago due to the sales. Less on macro but strategic micro. I must say, this is really enjoyable. A must have for those who enjoys war games.
