As I'm playing it now, it's fully released which means no more maps; however there are still SO many hours to be had here. The amount of content and ghosts is more than someone could ask for at its price. I got this game when it was relatively new, and I stopped playing for a couple years because I'm a wimp. It grew so much in that time, with releasing and exorcisms becoming a main part of the game. I love it, it's still scary no matter how long I play it or tell myself it's just programming, which is a testament to the atmosphere and gameplay itself. I'm constantly on my toes, still cowering in corners even after 10 hours. I'm usually good with horror, but running into a shadow person right around the corner is pants-soilingly terrifying. I'll forever love this game, and will always refer to it as a better Phasmophobia if the deep lore and slow burn gameplay appeals to you. Conrad is super chill, which helps ease the tension when it's too much. All this to say, if you're on the fence (or if you came here from Insym), I strongly suggest getting it. Simply one of my favorite games of all time and I will be spending many more hours strengthening my courage and completing every achievement.

TLDR: Conrad Stevenson's is a slow-paced game with no major threats or "puzzles," but is a narrative piece of art that makes you feel like you're actually learning about the ghosts that you're investigating. It's a really, really good game, but play it when you feel like lazing about- the game is not fast paced or action filled. That game's not about Monsters of Dead, they're about People who were once alive, and currently suffering. I'm amazed Steam only has 16 hours on record, I've owned this game for a long time, before Multiple Ghosts were inside the house. Yeah, you had to originally go in ghost-by-ghost to investigate, which was a cool enough concept on its own. As a rival to Phasmophobia, and originally narratively speaking the "Team 1" that identified the place truly was haunted, Conrad offers something that Phasmophobia is trying too hard to achieve: Realism. While Phasmophobia wants to scare you a little and pose a threat with ghosts being able to unalive you, as well as investigative puzzle solving with Evidence gathering... Conrad's really understands what MADE "Paranormal TV Shows" what they are. It's not a puzzle game. It's dealing with ghosts in the ways we know how: Electric interference, Freezing Temps, and Weird Sounds. That's IT. "Where'd the gameplay go?" You might ask, since I've listed Phasmo is currently overflowing with puzzle and threat where Conrad has none of the above. The gameplay is that the Ghost *ISN'T* randomized. Ghost 500 isn't identical to Ghost 1 because each one is carefully hand crafted. In Phasmo, Ghosts feel like "Monsters." In Conrad's P.P.I, ghosts are PEOPLE. They used to be alive at some point, and something tragic has them trapped, reliving a nightmare again and again. Combined with Conrad's amazing and consistent personality and quality audio, you never feel threatened and almost feel sorry for some of these ghosts, to the point you'd really like to help them move on. And in further updates, that was delivered (alongside a tiny bit of puzzle action AFTER ALL). If by some rare chance, the developer saw this and read this comment, I'd want to thank them for this very nice story. The choices made to keep it unique and individual were well-made and make this title a real gem.

I've just discovered and "completed" my first ghost, Elizabeth Carter the Skipping Girl. The atmosphere for even such a harmless ghost was tense - and the hints of a backstory are intriguing. I've been following this game since it came out, but after playing it I can see that no YouTuber was overdoing their reactions. It's terrifying, interesting, and humble. A must-play for any horror and ghost hunting enthusiast.

This is my favorite ghost hunting game. I love Phasmophobia too, but this game is more focused on the methodical process of hunting ghosts rather than the fast-paced action and constant feeling of impending doom offered by Phasmophobia. CSPPI shows respect to paranormal investigating in its approach. It provides an experience of intrigue, discovery, compassion, and closure. Each ghost in the game has their own story and their own means for being released or exorcised. This game is truly unique and wonderful. I can't recommend it enough!

Honestly, I haven't gotten far enough to deal with a demon in this game yet, but just based on my playtime on the first 3 maps you unlock alone, this game is amazing. This game is truly what Phasmophobia should have always been to begin with but never was. This game is immersive, and investigatory. What I really LOVE about this game is the fact that ghosts never hunt, or seek to kill you, and I LOVE that. In real life, paranormal investigators aren't killed by ghosts, and hardly ever feel their life is at risk when doing an investigation. To me this is something Paranormal P.I does perfectly. The other thing that I really LOVE is the fear to curiosity factor. When you first enter into a home in this game, you as the player feel scared and in fear of what could happen when entering the location, but once you get familiar with the house, and realize that these spirits where once human, and have their own stories attached to them, that initial fear is converted into pure curiosity, and that's what keeps you coming back for more. Honestly, I hope the developer keeps up working on this game in the future and adds more content even, while never-ever losing sight of what this games original concept is, simulated paranormal investigation!
