CSD2 is my favorite of the franchise. I've played them all cept the new one. I've played this game since it came out. I played CSD before that. Its the reason why I am such a great typist. lol. I love the time management, all the recipes, all the fun stress, I doubt I've played any game in my life as much as this one. ha. At this point in time I have played this franchise for 15 years ha. lol. Overseas in Germany with awful internet. In New Mexico while I was in college. All over the PNW. And Now I have rekindled my love the game in the South. Endless entertainment to be had with the game. 10/10. Always and forever.

This game is basically the same as the first, but with more food options, challenges, and chores that everyone hates. The variety that this game offers has a lot of customization for what you want your restaurant to serve while managing even more chaos that is standard worker in food industry. Aside from that you also gain experience working shifts in other restaurants that are also in this tower for some reason, dealing with menus that sound reasonable for their themes but is a nightmare when you get down to serving the food, especially the ones without side dishes. Its also the kind of game that punishes you for not having any typing skills if you're the kind of person who chooses controller over keyboard, unless you are the kind of wimp who rebinds the key inputs but even then its a skill issue you are dealing with. Other than that, it has all the fun, chaotic nature the first game had, but provides a weaker feeling of repetitive gameplay, even if the chores really like to make their presence known.

i completed all gold medals on the switch version of this game. this game is a completely different experience on PC compared to console, in a miraculous way that allows you to be reexperience joy and true consciousness. i love this game and i love its developers, and especially its composer- thank you jonathan geer for creating such an amazing soundtrack that never fails to entertain. i owe you all a great deed for this game as it has brought me so much joy. thank you form the bottom of my heart -pebbles. i can't wait to get all gold on PC :)

First, it feels strange if you've played csd1, more stations, less progress etc. It takes a big step through difficulty dimension too. But once getting used to new playing style, it is far more satisfying to deal with ever challenging levels. Great typing game.

This game should come with a free prescription for blood pressure pills. As soon as that Rush Hour music starts, my normally healthy blood pressure shoots through the roof. Why do I do this to myself? It's definitely better on PC over Steam Deck though - although the controls function as intended and there were no crashes on Steam Deck, it's just significantly easier on a keyboard. I get why they toned the achievement difficulty down when porting to console, to account for the controller use.
