This game caught me off guard in the best way! I expected a pretty simple management game, but it ended up being one of those games where you “just want to do one more”. What surprised me the most was the depth of the gameplay mechanics! There are diffferent layers to this game and it really gets more interesting with time. Figuring out how to make everything work together is super satisfying. Tbh the idea for the game and the whole concept is just new and refreshing. Managing everything around a football match instead of the match itself is something I have not really seen before - a big plus for me, I usually play the clones of wha I already know. The atmosphere is great, the cities look FANTASTIC (the visuals in general are quite impressive for a tycoon game!). Love that the devs added a sandbox mode (which I usually prefer) and that they are patching the game constantly - nice to see that they genuinely care. The negatives are pretty minor. Some notifications could be a little clearer, some dialogues are too long and I would like to see a bit more "freedom" in arranging the fan zones (I'm a builder at heart). Also ultrawide support seems a bit inconsistent. Sometimes the game scales perfectly, and other times it does not seem to recognize the aspect ratio correctly. I only had one crash and it happened after I was messing with the resolution, so I might have caused that myself. Overall, loved this game, especially for the "unique" factor and the mechanics - I do love optimizing things ;) The game feels polished, fun, and has more depth than it first appears. If the developers keep building on what is already here, I can easily see myself coming back for many more hours. Totally recommend if you are a fan of tycoons (with a twist in this case)

After spending more time with Copa City, I can clearly see that the developers have fixed most of the interface issues and improved the overall stability of campaign missions. What impressed me the most: -is the whole system of dynamically managing fan zones and city streets. It constantly forces you to react to the behavior of thousands of fans, which makes the gameplay feel much more engaging and realistic. Big pluses after the updates: -campaign tasks now progress much more smoothly in Warsaw and Berlin -interactions between modules around the stadium feel more polished, -the maintenance costs of different zones are better balanced -the game feels much more stable overall In my opinion, the developers deserve a lot of credit for the recent updates. Copa City now works the way it should have from the start. I can honestly recommend this game. If you enjoy logistics-based strategy games and football themes, this is a perfect moment to give it a chance.

I agree with some of the negative reviews out there - the game definitely has a few bugs that need ironing out. For instance, I had to completely restart campaign level 4 because the game failed to properly track the three district values when I build the corresponding buildings (value didn't increase or decrease). That being said, I really see the huge potential here. The core management loop is engaging, and what impresses me most is the development team. They are incredibly responsive and have already addressed many of the issues reported by the community. If you can overlook some temporary jank, it's a breath of fresh air in the footy management gaming. Update: I see that the devs are active in the steam discussions and provided patches already - so I have high hopes that the dev team does care and will deliver an excellent result!

great game. 1. I like how you can control everything in this game. The interface is robust as if you were playing eu4 which forces you to learn the controls but gives you a lot of freedom. 2. Tutorial is too long so its better to watch a video and skip the tutorial 3. Real clubs, cities and stadiums 4. Nice graphics, it runs well on my mid laptop
