The first Creepy Tale I've played and I loved it. I got it for the looks/aesthetics and it certainly was unique and creepy. I think I might've even enjoyed it as much as (if not more) than the Little Nightmares series because of the puzzles thrown it. They're not too abstract and the solutions could be found/discovered within a few minutes at most. I would love this game with a longer story and more complex puzzles thrown in, but this certainly was enjoyable as is. Definite recommend for those that enjoy "creepy factor" games like LN and puzzles. My only complaint is that the "combat" sections felt a little unnecessary due to the complete lack of challenge and I think it would've been better to make them more puzzle oriented, but that is just a personal preference. There were only 2 parts with that so it didn't really bother me.

PROS: [*] A creepy story in a dark, evil world. [*] Incredible voice acting. [*] Awesome animations and art style. [*] Awesome sound track and atmosphere. [*] Overall nice puzzles. CONS: [*] Some puzzles can be vague and you need to brute force them/read a guide. [*] Short game play. [*] Not really scary/creepy like the others. [*] No choices and only 1 ending. OVERALL: I love this kind of games, not as best as the other ones, but it's a nice start for a new sequel. You should try it!

All the Creepy Tale games have a pretty consistant quality both in the good and bad parts. They are, for the most part, excellet games. like a even more messed up interactive Grimm fairy tale. The art style is great, the sound design even better than earlier games, most of the puzzles are good, they might seam a bit confusing and arbitrary in exactly what you are suposed to do, but just pay attention and what you need to do will be clear, the inventory puzzles are for the most part pretty staight forward since there isn't that much to interact with in each area. There tend to be one pretty anoying part in each game where you move back and forward in a maze or have to do several very specific things in a time limit or the entire area resets (climbing the dentist house in the previous game where the worst of them), but thankfully this one doesn't have any. It did seam like they toned down the horror a bit in this one, there where not really that many monsters trying to eat you or any truly gruesome deaths (mostly you getting knocked out or captured). The story was only alright, but it also sets up a sequal so we eill probably get more of the story. The only other issue I had was that the some of the (english) voice actors are kind of terrible (was the same in the previous titles that had VO), I know they are a small team and professional voice actors are expensive, but it's a bit jaring sometimes. Especially since it seams they do put a lot of focus on picking voice actors in the original language. Perhaps picking the spoken language and having subtitles in another would be a solition for those who want it?

This game was really nice and had a great story. I like this part the best because the puzzles were more straight forward and not too difficult to solve, like in parts 1, 2 + 3. If you liked the other Creepy Tale parts, you'll definitely like this one.
