10/10. This is exactly what you want from a remaster of a beloved classic: updated graphics with the option to revert to "retro" at any time, minimal quality of life improvements (like analog camera control and non-tank control) and even remastered soundtrack (with the option to revert). Hope Croc 2 is next, as that's the one I played the most as a kid!

Croc isn’t just a game. It’s a time machine covered in green scales and questionable controls. You boot it up, and suddenly it’s the late 90s again. Your telly’s humming, your controller cable’s twisted, and you’ve got zero idea what a “frame rate” is. All that matters is saving those fuzzy Gobbos from whatever cartoon villain nonsense is going on. Yes, the camera hates you. Yes, the jumping feels like you’re fighting underwater physics. But somehow, none of that matters. Croc waddles, the music bounces, and before you know it, you’re smiling like a fool. This was from a time when games didn’t try to be cinematic or gritty. They were just weird, kind, and full of heart. Croc didn’t want to blow your mind, it wanted to cheer you up. If you grew up with this, play it again. If you didn’t, play it anyway. It’s messy, clumsy, and full of soul. A perfect reminder that joy doesn’t need to be polished. 10/10 Nostalgia Would play again and buy again anytime My son loves it as much as i did when i was his age. Very well done Titanium!

One of my favorite childhood platformers is finally on Steam! I'm glad I can relive old memories. The game runs perfectly on Steam Deck. So far, the remaster looks fantastic. definitely recommend it to people who want to revisit the game after many years, and for new players to check out a good oldschool classic!

This is how a remaster should be done. What a great presentation. It's like no time has passed! The option to use the original graphics is an awesome touch. And the Crocipedia!? Amazing job Argonaut. If you are a fan of the original, this is a no-brainer. To anyone who was ever interested in trying it out, what better way to be introduced to the game! Thank you thank you thank you!!
