1.0 is a big step up from the early access version. the AI is really fun to fight now and shots sound way better than before. its a night and day difference when using a suppressor. cant wait to see the future of dagger directive. the only thing im really missing when playing solo, would be friendly AI to command like in ghost recon 1.
This plays almost exactly like the old delta force games. If you liked those then you'll love this game. It has similar mechanics and enemy ai as well so if you think those are outdated you might not like this game. Delta Force is one of my favorites so this game was perfect to me!
the fact it had more sane dev roadmap than any other indie tactical shooters and has graphics that tries to be a homage to 90s and 2000s tactical shooters like Delta Force 1998 and the really first Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon makes it more unique than any other early access tactical shooters If you expect a EXACT RECREATION of Ghost Recon 2001 and Rainbow Six games, i suggest to not bother. it's more influenced by first three Delta Force games, it is SUPPOSED to not have AI teammates, unlike that one game by former Ghost Recon\Rainbow Six dev that has a MORE rushed 1.0 release. we can say the same thing about old Delta Force inspirations when it comes to the lack of reload animations, it is ALSO supposed to don't have that. it even has more features than the main inspiration with it's inventory system, and stuff that open map focused game tho i don't like the mission pacing. old Delta Force games had faster pacing even if they were LARGE. You will walk more than complete objectives and clear out hostile outposts. it doesn't want to have the same audience as for other pve-focused tactical shooters like Ready or Not and *vomits* Operator, but if you don't mind graphics and strangeness in some mechanics, it is very decent. we need more throwback tactical shooters like this, graphics whoring still is a cancer.
Amazing. Great spiritual successor. People who have never played a delta force game(The new game is not a delta force game) Can't wrap their head around this game imitates that gameplay. "Wah I gotta walk for literally 1 minute to the next objective instead of having dopamine drip fed to me constantly" Har har. 8.5/10 In its current state.
