This game has huge potential but there are certain worries going forward. One is that this game seems to have attracted the attention of new players to to this type of shooter and therefore is diluting the experience. This is apparent if you are coming from the original HLL. There is little to no communication even on community servers players running around not really cooperating or playing as a unit let alone team and thus some matches feel like they drag on and feel boring. I believe, given time, as players drop off and the more serious ones stay and as even experienced HLL players get accustomed to this specific type of conflict and gameplay, the experience as a whole will vastly improve.

I see the downvotes, and honestly, I agree with them. There is still a lot of work that needs to be done to make this game better. I’m happy they postponed the release, but even with the extra time, there are still a lot of things that need to be fixed. I really think the development team needs to get together and start working through some of the bugs. For example, the proximity voice chat is a big one. Sometimes people are walking around talking, and they sound like an android from Star Wars. 😂 It completely takes you out of the experience. They also need to fix the skull emblem that stays stuck on the front of your screen. Another big issue is the UAV. When you use it to spot people, the markers sometimes stay on the map and never disappear. When you have a bunch of markers covering the map, it becomes extremely difficult to actually read the battlefield, figure out what is happening, and plan how you want to attack or defend. With all that being said, I still really enjoy this game. It’s fun, and at the end of the day, that’s what matters. Do I think they could have taken even more time to fix and polish the game before releasing it? Absolutely. And honestly, I’m completely okay with companies delaying a game if it means they can release it in a better state. I would much rather see a company take that extra time to finish the game properly than release it too early and then spend months trying to fix problems that could have been addressed before launch. That extra time can also help the future health and longevity of the game So, would I recommend Hell Let Loose: Vietnam? Yes—but only if you’re okay with dealing with bugs, glitches, and some frustrating issues. If you haven’t bought the game yet, I would honestly recommend waiting a little while and giving the developers more time to fix things. I love Hell Let Loose, and I really want to see this game succeed. Again, I love Hell Let Loose, but come on, guys. I know you can do better than this. Give us the game I know you’re capable of making. ❤️

I am a major fan of the first entry and even bought my friend a copy of HLL Vietnam to play. Things need to be fixed, a lot of standard quality of life improvements that are present in HLL are not here. 1. NO way to turn of hot mic with you team in prelobby. 2. You can ping enemies while down, should not be possible. 3. Some bushes are body armor when crouching in them. 4. No commendations for fellow teammates. 5. You cant see your server while in game. 6. The in game stats shown should be massively improved. 7. Conquest shows no points unless on top of them. 8. Can shoot through many openings, under train cars, over ledges properly without nonexistent hit registration. I bet I could fill this list to 20 and I have only played a few games. Please fix as this game has a ton of potential.

It's "Hell let loose" but in Vietnam. Kinda jank & the guns sound a little rinky-dink. Nothing an update or two won't fix. Runs well on Linux.
