Finally, Dancing Line is back! (for real this time I hope...?) One of my favorite games originally made from mobile device is officially on Steam. Please keep rolling updates this time like in the past. The more the levels, the better! (and hopefully to get the licenses again for the missing levels). Also the recent level quality is so good!! Thank you for the meal!

Amazing game, levels are exactly like in the mobile version. Advantages of playing Dancing Line on PC are: - higher FPS (I'm getting 240 FPS in 4k with my setup) and no FPS drops/lag spikes like on the mobile app - no ads - unlimited cubes and reviews at checkpoints/crowns - all levels are unlocked What I whish for the future: - more levels - 3d mode (example side by side 3d for VR headsets) - return of Despacito and Alan Walker levels Thank you DL-Team for reviving this beautiful game

This was something I've always wanted for Dancing Line ever since I picked this game up on mobile all of those years ago. That game on mobile was a very fun experience for me, and the soundtrack carried me throughout, alongside a lot of the cool visuals (at least for a mobile game that is...) With Dancing Line making it's way on Steam after almost a decade, it was time to revisit and see how this game holds on. Safe to say, I think this game is still very fun and enjoyable to go through. A lot of these levels have fun gameplay and unique visuals/ideas that make want to play more! I feel it is better than ever to control the line, as opposed to tapping my small screen with potential delay. One thing I want to point out though is that pretty much every old map in the game was created with mobile screens in mind (and older technology). This means that a lot of the maps have this old outdated low poly look to them that older 3D mobile games would have, and this something I feel newer players would have to get used to if they want to experience this game. Along with being made with mobile screens in mind specifically, the widescreen here ends up showing a lot of missing or awkward details that the devs did not intend for players to see ever. While this does not affect every map (a lot of these maps improve with widescreen), you can see it take its toll on certain levels and it is impossible to ignore. As a Dancing Line fan myself, I can ignore this and enjoy the product but I worry other customers would not be as lenient as I am. Luckily the developers had made a blog post stating they would go back through all 50+ maps and attempt to polish them up for a widescreen PC release of Dancing Line, which is great to hear! I can definitely say that the newer levels are going to be great in widescreen, and proof of that is the new level, The Mystery, which this level is loaded with details great for PC players to see! The new UI for this game is also an improvement over the mobile version in my opinion, and it is much more fitting for a PC release of Dancing Line. They also removed Cubes/Energy system, which was ONE of my BIGGEST gripes with mobile Dancing Line. I hated having to wait or spend money to keep playing after I run out of attempts, but now it is NEVER a problem here! Whether I think it is worth it? Honestly up to you and if you like simple rhythm games, This game is pretty much "click to the music", but the game makes you feel more than that in my opinion, and there are around 50+ levels to choose from! The game is priced at $10, and if you think that price is cheap enough for what this game offers, then I would go ahead and see if it is for you. However, BUY THE STARTER PACK SPECIFICALLY IF YOU PLAN ON GETTING THIS GAME. You could also wait on sale or watch videos on this game to see if you like it. Overall, I like this release of Dancing Line, even though it has problems right now, but I hope to see them fixed in the future and the game updating.

Not really a steam reviewer, but this game is my childhood. Perfected every level over hundreds of hours in school. I was surprised and excited to see it get it's own steam page. Is it worth $10 when it was free on mobile? YES!!!! If you're a music gamer: this is one of the greats. If you haven't played it yet, that's a sin. Still running thru the levels, but I'm noticing some of the issues with the mobile version (i.e syncing [...ocean]) have been fixed. There are some fade-in issues with a couple levels probably due to the larger screen size. But I'm sure those will be patched. Nostalgia-bait for a lot of us, but I WISH I could play this game for the first time again. Jealous of y'all that find this game for the first time here. BUY THE FKING GAME
