Dead effect has to be one of the best zombie games. Being a mobile game ported to PC with all the visuals and gore is just impressive. The atmosphere gets scary sometimes which matches the game completely. The weapons feels great to use and each weapon hits a punch to the zombies which is so satisfying.

Even though this is to my knowledge a mobile port made into a PC release it actually ends up being decently fun. Sure the voice acting is not the best and story leaves something to be desired but there's an odd arcadey fun to getting headshots and taking on zombies, collecting credits to buy different weapons. There's not a mind blowing or super in depth experience here but if you want to enjoy a sci fi b movie plot and kill a bunch of different undeads using some different weapons and powers you can easily get 5-10 hours of fun here, would recommend on sale or even at the normal price.

this game actually is very playable and the animations of the heads and limbs exploding is really good to pull off, well worth a go if you're bored but don't expect anything amazing 8/10
