Horrifically underrated roguelike. Without the fandom of games such as The Binding of Isaac or even the less popular Enter the Gungeon, this one might easily pass you by. But here is a game that’s so evidently a product of love and care from the devs and it pays off in spades. Since its initial release, this game has received six free major content updates over the yeara and it shows. This is a game that wants to be the best version of itself and the devs sought out doing that. The gameplay loop is addicting, tough, but surmountable. Once you start to get a feeling for how to work with the ebb and flow of a run, you’ll find yourself in those satisfying overpowered builds more and more, and it always feels earned. Your skill, your choices, your determination, that’s what got you victory. also, yeah, big boobie witch game. But hey, if that’s what gets you in the door, great, because once you’re in you won’t wanna leave.
