Fun momentum platformer. It has a nice aesthetic, calming music and tight controls. The narrative is nearly non existant, but serviceable. I'd say one of it's biggest disadvantages is that it's pretty short. Sure, you have time attacks and collectables, but still. In any case, I recommend this game, though I'd say it's better to grab it at discount. 4/5
Rating: 8/10 -Good Defunct is one of those small little indie games with a cool and unique idea. You are a unicycle robot whose engine broke down inside a spaceship. You need to get to a repair shop. You need to use gravity to your advantage. You have the ability to gravitize to the ground. Doing this while going downhill will create momentum. On the way to the repair shop, you get launched outside of the spaceship onto the planet's surface. You now have to find a way back to the spaceship. You traverse different areas of the planet and solve small puzzles. You sometimes enter a big area with buttons scattered around. You have to find a way to activate them all to open a gate. The feeling of speed is addicting and you're always on the lookout for the next big slope to gain more momentum. This gameplay belongs in a Sonic game. It's a short little experience with a bit of replay value thanks to time trials, collectibles and alternate routes.
