I love this game a lot! (Tho the cloud is obstructing me typing this review cuz of where I moved it right now, lol! It's okay, it's cute. :) :P It's very adorable, to see them crawling around on your desktop. I'll tab away to a fullscreen, go switch to working on something else, and then I'll come back and see them there along the bottom!!!! I like it a lot. Then I can work with them crawling around. And the WHITE NOISE option!!!! My favorite is the Rainy Day. It's super nice, it fades into the background, but it works so well as white noise. Thank you!!!! One thing I would wish though, is for an option to "lock"your pets, so when you go to donate them to visitors, they won't take any that you've locked. I have a lot of spares now, and I'd love to share them, but I'm not willing to give up my original, fully-grown up ones. A way to toggle the sparkling of champion pets, off, might be nice, too- I have my favorites, running around and nicknamed, but with more and more of them sparkling, it's getting distracting from my work. It was fine when they didn't sparkle. ˆ_ˆ

Oh my gosh, Desk Paws has completely changed my desktop! Seriously, if you need a dose of pure joy and cuteness while you're working or just browsing, this is the perfect little companion game. It’s classified as an idle game, but it's more like a living, breathing digital aquarium for my computer. I love watching the little pets wander across the bottom of my screen—they have so much personality! The pixel art is absolutely adorable and the whole aesthetic is so bright and cozy. My favorite part is the customization. You can collect hundreds of different pets (and even breed new ones!), decorate their little apartment house, and adjust the size and position of everything on the screen. It really lets you make the game your own. Plus, the developer even included a "Do Not Disturb" button that hides everything instantly, which is perfect for when I actually have to focus on a meeting. The gameplay loop of sending my pets on little adventures for resources and then spending it all at the claw machine to get new friends is addictive and low-stress. And having the little house layered over my desktop, like in the image you showed, just makes my whole setup feel so much homier and more welcoming. If you love things that are cute, love collecting, and just want a simple, non-demanding game to keep you company, Desk Paws is a must-buy. It's the ultimate source of desktop serotonin!

Feels really slow to progress even for an idle game, but it's so fucking adorable that I don't care, and I'm keeping it open for eternity. Definitely the cutest out of the "bottom of your screen" idle game trend. Also reminds me of some toy I had in the early 2000s called Pixel Chix so it gets bonus nostalgia points. I would raze entire nations for Pupu Rat, he brings me so much joy. Bless the Pupu Rat. Edit: Okay after leaving this open for almost 3 days, I absolutely love this little game. I squeak with joy every time I see a cute new animal and colour variants from breeding. Best purchase I've made in a long time. Also the dev(s) are super friendly which just makes me love the game even more. Actual cutest game ever. Bought the supporter pack because I loved it so much, which I never do.

definitely one of the more higher quality games to come from the 'bottom of your screen' idler games trend! it doesn't leave you with that "well. guess thats it." feeling after progressing. very interactive and customizable ++. slows down considerably but its easy to obtain the little dudes, i mean its an idler lol let it sit there and look pretty. i love the claw mechanic and the gachapon system. so many silly lil guys to fling. fumi my beloved. i can tell this is gonna be big and hope to see the team develop more :) !! loved the demo. buy the supporters pack <3
