Very simple arcade game, exactly as the trailer shows (Space Harrier style). The price is already low, so on sale and specially if you like Neptunia characters is a must have. I played it with a gamepad and in fullscreen. A playthrough is around 17 minutes, but to get all the achievements I needed 2.6 hrs. I went first for the "no damage" chievo, so when I had to do the 200k one, I could do it on my first try. I'll play some more for the two remaining cards to drop. Pro tip: to get the 200k chievo, you must have at least 180k when you reach the final boss (she gives 20k once defeated).

Top Nep is a game solely entertaining on it's ascetics alone. While I really do want to give it flowers for anything else, Dimension Tripper Neptune: TOP NEP simply isn't challenging or interesting to learn. Understandably for a Space Harrier like game there is only so much you can do with the formula before you stray too far away from it, but Top Nep just played it too safe. While I am grateful that it wasn't too hard, I am sadden that it just doesn't have much else to it. You honestly could beat this game by spending most of your time in the corner, and you are rarely rewarded to do much else. It's a real shame because this game looks absolutely amazing. The sprite work is wonderful, the music is chipper, and the levels look incredible. The game is pretty short though, and there isn't much to do beyond trying to perfect it. If nothing else, you get this game because it's eye candy.

Dimension Tripper Neptune: TOP NEP is a cute little arcade-style shooter featuring elements from the Neptunia series. It's short and easy fun, plain and simple. I consider myself to have mediocre skill at this genre of game and it only took me about 2.5 hours to grab all the achievements, but it was a blast the whole way through. The gameplay is easy to grasp, consisting of simple dodging, shooting, and a melee attack that can also block projectiles. As a Neptunia fan, it's a joy to look at all this game's sprites featuring familiar enemies and characters from the series. The soundtrack is also top-notch, using charming chiptune renditions of Neptunia music. If I try to be objective, this game is probably too short for most people to consider it worth a purchase. But if you're a fan of the Neptunia series and keep your expectations low (kinda par for the course tbh...) then you should get a good burst of fun from this game.

Fun little game with cute pixelart and especially nice if you're a fan of Neptunia series. Being attacked by eggplants is something only those familiar with the series will get. LOL Game is mad short though, beat it in 15 minutes. Might be worth replaying for higher scores and/or a zero damage challenge though. There's also an achievement for the latter for those who enjoy achievement hunting.
