The game is really fun. The only thing that really annoys me is how slow the UI is, how unfriendly it is and how many clicks it needs EVERY TIME. There aren't even any shortcut keys so you actually have to click... EVERY TIME. The game itself is great. I love the theme and the gameplay as a whole is really fun. That being said... it does not seem like the company is doing very well, if it is still alive. That's sad. I would still recommend the game, though.

I really do like this game. I hope that some QoL things come in a future update. Skipping cutscenes would be awesome. The flow of the game gets pretty slow once you have an idea of what you're wanting to go for. The optimization really needs some work, I have a beefy PC and I have the game crashes out on me every once in a while and there are points where it just stutters like crazy. Tried playing on the steam deck and it was a slog... sad times. If these things get fixed in the future, this game will be a top tier deck builder. I still recommend playing this game, but keep in mind there is room for improvement.

This is my general feedback after clearing the difficulty level after Medium multiple times, currently attempting "level 5". Beware that I'm gonna write about some characters, skills and game mechanics but not talking about the story. So I've played around 50 hours so far and while I had a blast, I feel like there can be some aspects in the game that can be either further improved upon, completely changed or implemented. Let me start off with this: The game is genuinely addicting. It's fun, the OST is a bop, the visuals are phenomenal and while I'm still only in the water chapter the story has a surprising amount of depth so far. (I did not expect that amount of animation.) While there are some card visuals that just have a different color but the same look as another card (if even that), the cards also have a nice look. The characters all look awesome and I played every faction so far. (I didn't max out every faction yet, but so far I got Fire, Air and Shadow- almost maxed out Water, Earth and I guess Light too). I love that, while each faction has their own gimmicks, you can try to make them work together, like Arachnobro/Shadestrike/Fungrass as an example. You're not forced to lock in a faction- you can try to mix them together, which is one thing I love about roguelikes in general. The freedom to be rewarded with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's really fun to try out stuff and builds. But now here are some issues, and let me talk about the most glaring one imo: The Legendary Cards. They are just...really damn weird. When I unlocked Terratons, and I couldn't unlock every legendary card yet so far in the game, it was immediately clear to me that it is probably one of the strongest cards in the game. Didn't help that I had a run where it basically guaranteed me the win in Apocalypse 4 with the build I was going for, but I needed to roll high for that so that's absolutely fine- Legendary Cards are Legendary for a reason. But now I unlocked the one from Celestorm and it's just...what? As a comparison: Terratons Legendary is a 6-Cost card with 2 CD Turns, that applies Stun to EVERY Enemy and deals each one of them 40% Current HP Dmg. Yes, you would need a Mana relic to make use of it (in higher difficulty modes because there are some restrictions) and it's clear that, if used as a standalone without Mana support (excl. Sun Stone because your max Mana wouldn't suffice otherwise), you would need to wait a lot to use it. But there are ways around it and it's in my eyes a complete game-changer- which Legendary Cards are supposed to be. And now the one from Celestorm: A 4-Cost Card that lets every Hero deal 25 Dmg to a random Enemy...with 2 Turn CD. ...it doesn't even have Deadly. To keep things short: Deadly is a modifier that amplies damage from your skill depending on the amount of "Rage" your hero has (increases damage by 1 point for each Rage point) or Corruption on your enemy (increases damage taken by the enemy for each point). And as you can see, it's pretty important in the later stage to have any kind of "stacking buffs/debuffs" to keep up with the HP scaling off your enemies. At the difficulty I'm at, that skill wouldn't even be THAT useful against the first boss- in the first plane...of which there are 4. Maybe there is some use for this card that I didn't figure out yet, like have everybody walk around with 300 rage- however you want to manage that- but even then it pales a LOT in comparison to other cards. Doesn't help that it's random enemies either. It's a rare Skill card at best, and even then Celestorm Rare Skill Cards far outshine it by a mile, like "Let Loose" or "Judgement", each of them having good synergy with especially Epic rank skill cards from her own pool of cards. I feel like every Hero, like Terraton, needs a game changer as a Legendary Card, it's not like you get them every run. I only managed to get them personally when a Hero reaches lvl 20- otherwise I had no luck. Maybe it changes when I reach the higher difficulty stages, but so far I wished that it was possible to get at least an enocunter that would allow you to get a Legendary- or make it that after the first boss you can choose one Legendary from the chosen Heroes. Other games can also have that kind of mechanic- let you have one "Legendary" rank card after the first boss (and depending on the game you can also have an Encounter where you're able to get another Legendary, though you need to pay some kind of cost for that). It's just an idea, but I hope the devs implement some kind of change for the Legendary cards, because so far this is by far my biggest gripe with the game. If there is one thing I can otherwise mention- please get some rerolls for the relic selections/Reward screens. there are some factions that are simply screwed without a turn 1 No dmg guarantee because they have cost on defense skills or I didn't have the luck to get some good survivability skills. tl;dr: good game, good characters and fun mechanics- legendary need some big changes imo and some more options to get the stuff you need (rerolls or stuff) would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.

I played the demo of this game when it first released, and rather quickly fell in love with the game. I was eagerly waiting for the full game to release, and I've been having so much fun since it did! Dimensionals has entertaining, dynamic gameplay that rewards players for strategic planning and combo-making. It's incredibly satisfying finding character and ability combos that falls neatly into place after you have carefully built it up. The characters and the storyline are also charming. Some battles can be quite tough, but that makes the accomplishment of getting through them all that more rewarding. Plus, it seems like the developers are keeping an eye on the game and are ready to make balance adjustments as necessary.
